Ahem, Chapter 1- The Beginning of Harriana & Rabbie

(Abbie's Perspective)

"I TOLD YOU I WAS RIGHT!" I screamed at Ron. My hands were clenched shut and my eyebrows were lowered. Hopefully Ron knew that was a sign I was mad. I cleared my throat and stepped forward. Ron took a step back.

"Baby, calm down, I just-...fell during practice.." He trailed off.

"NOPETY NOPE NOPE, I TOLD YOU SO..."

Ron put his arms on my shoulder. I was a lot shorter than him so, he had a good reach to my shoulders.

"But, hey, okay....fine, yes you were right,...about my stupid broom, BUT I'm not dead, am I?"

I sighed, calming down to my normal level. I tucked my hands in my pockets.

"Yes, and I am VERY grateful....But please, Ron! This is only the first week, be careful out there! You could have broken an arm! Or...I don't know, ...y-your nose.."

Ron sighed and smirked at me. I could see he was sure. His eyes told me.

"I promise...." He booped my nose. Who knew Ron Weasley could be so adorable?

I nodded and smiled.

"Good...please don't try and get yourself killed..."

Ron chuckled, leaned down, and grabbed me around my waist. He held me close, and sat his head on my shoulder. I felt a sense of warmth flood through me. He rubbed his hands on my back. I shivered.

I wrapped my arms around his neck. I sighed through my nose and tucked my head on his shoulder. His red hair was in my face, but I didn't care.

Suddenly, his hands were around my hips. I laid my head on his chest and looked up.

"...well..what should we do now?" I asked, swishing my hair back off my shoulders.

"I dunno.." He mumbled, his voice had gotten lowered and quieter. He touched his nose to mine. He smiled and giggled.

" I'm feelin' kind of....in the mood to....Eh,..I dunno...have fun...Hm?" He held me close and smirked.

I tilted my head. I had always thought Ron was that tries-to-be-cool-geeky-guy-that-

is-soft-on-the-inside, not this guy. After all, they did pick us up about two years ago from Ohio, and I had read all the books before. But, I liked this version of Ron.

"Oh really? Well...I've got something for you.."

I took his hand, pulled him through the doorway, and up to the girls dormitories.

"But, this is the girls.." He looked behind him.

"Oh shush...." I pulled him further in.

I pulled him onto the bed, well, my bed, and pulled something from under me bed. He watched me as I did.

"Oh.." He giggled.

"I see...protec-" He went silent.

I pulled up a box labeled Candy Land.

"Here we go..."

He stared at me.

"What?"
"What is that? C-...Candy Land? I thought you were gonna grab some con-"

I reached up and shushed him.

"It's a game....I used to play it all the time back at home. " I smiled as I pulled out all the pieces.

He kept staring at me, I could tell he was confused.

"Here, say mom for me?"
"Uh...mum.."

"Thank you...now I can remember that you're a wizard and you don't know this game.." I smiled and laughed out loud.

He leaned forward and took a piece.

"So..." He twiddled the piece around his fingers.

"How do we play?"

"Like this..."

~~~~~~~
About an hour later, we were now sitting on the floor because we didn't have enough room on the bed, still playing the game. I had just gotten 4 spaces ahead of Ron. His ears were slightly red.
He stood up, his hands clenched. He had just rolled a 2.
"OH. GOD," He yelled. He ran his fingers through his hair.
"I screwed up!"He yelled. I stood with him, laughing.
He was kind of shaking. Like, ....weirdly.
"Ron, baby, calm down..."
He cracked his fingers, reached in his pocket, wiped out his wand, pointed at the board and yelled,
"FIENDFYRE!" And the board caught flames. It shriveled into ashes in a matter of seconds.
I stood shocked.
"What the-! Ron! Heh" I chuckled.
He stood, huffing, and stuffed the wand back in his pocket.
"Well..We don't have anything else to do.....How about we-"
Suddenly, the door whipped open, and Harry and Bri marched in. They both looked shocked.
"Umm um um um.." Bri stared at me curiously, flicking her eyes at sweaty Ron, at the ashed board, then back at me.
"I-I can explain!"
Ron stood silent. He and Harry both were stunned.
"He- we...Um well, Ron...Came in here with me- AH, THAT DIDN'T SOUND GOOD, UH,!" Bri's eyebrows lowered and she coughed.
"Um, Abbie...what-?"
"I mean, uh...W-We..." I stuttered.
I shrugged and sat back down on the floor.
"It's no use....nevermind..." I looked over at the wall. I looked at the clock. It said, 4:35.
"Ah crap, we better get to dinner!"
I shuffled out of the room, pulling Ron behind me and leaving Harry and Bri behind. There was no time or use to explain. Just- not enough. Not enough.
