I look at you with a romance in my eye

If you look into my eyes.
You should find.
The piece of me that never cries.
The one that to you it will bind.

This part takes over, whenever I talk to you.
Yes, it takes over everyday.
On the days that we do not talk, it turns blue.
"I'll talk to them tomorrow!" it'll say.

The next day, I gaze at you from across the classroom.
My piece get's so excited, he does a backflip.
My love for you is like a flower in bloom.
As I watch you play with your lip.

At recess you ask me to talk in private.
My heart rate speeds up.
All emotions, but happiness and wonder leave and vacate.
Behind the bleachers, my heart rate is faster, and builds-up.

You look at me all nervous, and that's okay.
Your face does not look at bliss.
"I have something to say to you, i'm attracted to you, because i'm gay."
"Me too." I say, leaning into a kiss.
