It had been six months since the Nameless Man. He was all I could think about. My mind was leaving. What do you do after something like this? There is no way to be normal. College was out the window, due to funds. There is no way to find a job. They had not even found the Nameless Man yet. He had destroyed me. My mind would be my fastest road to death.
The police said the Nameless Man was not to be found. His house was never even found. Feeling safe was gone. I live with my mother, and sister. May, my sister, works late everynight, and my mother works late as well. I stayed home all day. I was alone all day.
"You understand I have to leave now?" My mother said, trying to calm me down. A tear rolled down my cheek.
"Okay. I understand." I said in uncertainty.
My mother walked out of the door.
She made me feel safe. I walked into the sofa room, and sat down. The sun shined through the windows. The sun was something I had missed.
The phone started to ring.
"Hello?" I asked into the phone.
"I can see you. You may not know where I am, but I know where you are." A voice I recognized said.
"No. No. Please... You make me crazy. Stay away from me!" I yelled.
"You may not be mine, but trust me, I will make you as crazy as I want. You are worthless, and will realize the consequences of what you do." The voice said.
"I'm already losing my mind! Leave me alone! I'm going to call the police!" I screeched.
"May we all lose our minds." The Nameless Man said.
The phone beeped, and the call was over.
