Life doesn't always throw pebbles at you but it also doesn't always shower you with flowers either. It has a way to balance both but you have to be strong enough to handle it.
Min believed these words with her heart. She believed that happiness doesn't last forever. She was careful not to be too happy.
There were weeks where she felt so happy that she had to lock herself in her room to cry silent tears for no apparent reason. These tears were solely because she thought if she didn't cry then she would have to face even more sadness in the future.
Min also wholeheartedly believed in the saying, 'no pain, no gain.' The only reason she hasn't confessed to Jin yet was solely due to the reason that she wanted to increase the longing she had for him untill it was too much for her.
She wanted to control this feeling she had for him till death, or till her body decided it was too much and acted on its own.
These thoughts even confused Min sometimes. She didn't understand why she couldn't gather the courage to just confess. She understood however that these thoughts were a part of her, they controlled her.
Jin was something she treasured with her life, although the latter was completely oblivious to her feelings.
She couldn't deny the obvious attraction she had for him from the moment she saw him. She still remembered her heart beating rapidly in her chest just because he smiled at her. As the time passed, she slowly started falling for him in more ways than possible. What she felt for him was not limited to only physical attraction but it had developed into something so deep that she was scared.
Min longed for him so much. Each day, heck each second was unbearable for her without him. She didn't understand why he had such effect on her but she couldn't control it.
Her breath hitched every time he smiled at her. His voice was like music to her ears. His laughter could bring her back from death, she thought. Most of all, his existence felt like a gift to her.
Oh how she wished he could realise what he meant to her. She wished he would just kiss her sometimes but she knew it was just wishful thinking.
The time it became hardest for her to hide her obvious attraction was when he was with her. When Jin was so much as two meters away from her she completely lost herself.
Her love was slowly becoming harder to hide. She felt herself going tense every time he touched her. She stuttered when he looked into her eyes. A visible blush covered her face every time he called her name.
The attraction Min had for him was so much that she had almost started hating her brother for a while. Her heart boiled when Jin gave more attention to him, but she knew that he loved the little bunny. When she realised how much he selflessly loved Kim, she fell in love even more.
Jin was kind, warm, beautiful person inside out. He had a way to make people feel safe and loved. A huge part of it was because he was honest with his words. He never said too much or too little. It was hard to get offended by him. He was somehow serious even when he was joking.
He loved without condition and it attracted Min even more. He had a way to make Min feel loved with small gestures and she was really greatful to him for that. Jin had helped her through many rough patches, he had been there holding her hand whenever she broke down in the corner. Nothing big, nothing small, the fact that made her fall in love was that he had been there. Silently being there by her side when things were falling apart, that was the best thing anyone could do for her.
Jin was the best thing that happened to her. This was a fact.
