I stood in front of my locker and closed it to see Craig a little further away at his locker, he looked a little down, not that such behaviour was new from Craig. I stood there a minute, waiting for the other students to clear out to break. I didn't see Craig this morning at the begging of the school day. I walk over to him, after Saturday nights events I want to know how he's doing, hopefully this won't be too awkward if at all.
"Hey Craig.." He responded with a small hum. "How'd it go over..?"
"Dad came in a while after you left and told me some bullshit... The kind of thing I expected, really, 'I don't agree with this path you've chosen' and shit like that. I didn't bother to argue, fuck that."
"Oh... I'm really sorry."
"It's alright dude, I started that whole situation in the first place."
We began walking down the hallway and out the front doors, the two of us usually went out to lunch together.
"You jokingly asked me to do something, I was the one who decided to actually do it." I tried my best to reassure him.
"I actually wasn't joking when I told you to do that, if I'm honest..." Craig paused as we walked out the front doors and stepped onto the pavement outside. "But I'm surprised you actually did it, I always thought you were into... Well, chicks."
"Recently came to find I could go both ways, and yea, I did it, why? Ehhh, well I was kinda turned on.." I admitted this straight to Craig's face, I just admitted that he turned me on. I gave a nervous sort of chuckle and stuffed my hands into the pockets of my parka. Craig nudged me lightly with his shoulder and let out a small giggle.
"Don't worry Kenny, I think you're hot too." I felt my face redden out of being both flustered and embarrassed, although a little confused as well, I'm not ripped or anything, I don't even have abs, and that's a thing chicks dig.
"I don't even have muscle though.." I mutter, hoping that if Craig heard me he'd say something.
"I'm not into that." He shrugged. "I like my guys toned, not beefy." I laughed at the word beefy. "Are you doing anything after school?"
"No, not that I ever am."
"Alright, cool."
