Part 7: Awakening

Omg guys, I am so terribly sorry for the lack of updates, I am also sorry to all who have been waiting for me to upload a new chapter, but I've been prettty busy over the last months and I've been missing ideas and most importantly inspiration for this story and writing in general. I sincerely apologize! I hope you can still enjoy this story though and that you're not mad with me T_T I worked on this with a lot of longer breaks after I've uploaded chapter 6, so it might've turned out a bit weird (also sorry if there are any mistakes, I'm not a native speaker + that it's not that long). Pls stay patient with me, even if I rarely update. I am trying my best not to disappoint you and I want this story to be as enjoyable as possible! But enough of me wasting your time, have fun reading! :) 

I woke up, it was cold and I couldn't feel a thing. I tried to move but my body just wouldn't obey. My sight was blocked from a cloth that covered my eyes and I noticed that my arms and legs were bound together with a rope. Great... I wonder for what reason it was there. The last thing I could recall was a forest. I also remember Jimin to be there, but the rest of my memories were just blurred. Should I call out for him? Maybe he was here. Several minutes passed and I was still unsure about what to do, where exactly I was and how I should feel about the current situation I was in. I heard a door open up, cold air hit me and shivers ran down my spine. Someone entered the room. My body was still paralyzed and I couldn't see, but I knew that it was him. He came over to me. "don't move" he almost said that in a demanding voice, while leaning down to remove the blindfold from my eyes. I was finally able to look at him. He seemed pretty tired, dark circles under his eyes and overall quite damaged in some way. "The color still hasn't changed..." he sighed "you're nothing but trouble" I couldn't quite follow. "What do you mean and where the hell are we?" He hesitated before he finally answered "We're somewhere far away from the city, there are barely people that pass by here... which is a good thing considering your current state. Did you knew it without telling me or did you really have no clue? Damn it Jungkook that bastard, he should've said something!" he ran his fingers through his hair while stepping nervously on the ground with his left foot. "What's gotten into you, for fucks sake, I can't even move because you basically tied me up on this chair, if you could explain properly what you mean I might be able to help you better" I gave him an annoyed look and leaned my head back "and what about my eyes? If something happened back there you need to tell me because I can't remember a thing" I looked back up right into his eyes. He starred into mine like if he was trying to dig out information I was keeping from him. "You're not lying are you?" he bit his lower lip before continuing "we were on our way away from that old town, or should I say away from that lying asshole, that just got me into a bigger trouble than I had already expected?" "Watch your mouth" I almost hissed. "Vampires that have been sealed are always so impulsive, calm down little girl" he grinned at me. "Be glad that we're still alive after we had the car crash."

Jimin's view: Something's wrong, maybe my senses were playing tricks on me, but I thought there was just an outcast that hastened through the small alleyway we just passed by. I drove faster until we got out of the small town, I couldn't take the risk to be followed by someone. I was staying alert, checked the mirror multiple times, but I just couldn't get rid of this feeling. She was just staring out the window. And there it was again, just seeable for a blink of an eye, but that was enough for me, the cape he was wearing had the symbol of the anemone. I stopped the engine, opened the door and got out. I had to check the surroundings. "Stay in here, I'll be right back" without waiting for her to answer I ran along the street to the point where I last saw this guy. I quickly turned around when I noticed that he was standing right behind me. "What do you want?" I angrily asked. These guys were nothing but trouble, not to say the worst at least. He just looked at me without making any effort to answer my question. "Listen-" but before I could even start talking he rushed over to the car, but I was still fast enough to stop him from grabbing Y/N who just got out of the car to see what was going on. I stormed in front of her, punching that guy in his stomach and throwing him against a tree afterwards. "Why can't you just listen once to what I'm saying, hurry and get back in the car" I tried to say it in the most calming tone I had to offer right now. "

Y/N's view: I really didn't know what was going on anymore, but getting back in the car didn't seem like the best option to me. And overall, why was all of this happening in the first place? "Who was that?" I nervously asked, refusing to follow his commands. "If you don't want to listen to me, then just don't get in my way now!"

Jimin's view: The vampire got back up, ready to attack me. I knew that he wanted Y/N, but for what reason? I bit my lower lip, ready to block his upcoming attack. He swirled around through the air, to get enough speed to get really close to me, trying to hit me with his long sharp nails. "So you're a low class, I see" I grabbed his wrist without any hesitation, turning it around to a very unhealthy position. I heard his bones crack, while he twisted his face in pain, he obviously didn't expect me to countor him like that. What an idiot, even for his level. "Y/N you should look away now" I pierced my fist through his body, giving him the rest and threw him back into the bushes after that.

The weather was getting worse. The trees outside were moving because of the strong wind, it probably wouldn't take long before it would turn into a snow storm. I could feel it. What was he even thinking? Leaving me alone with her after all the things that happened. She may have lost her memory and maybe it was better like that, but that wouldn't last forever. I was trying my best not to look at her, but one thing kept wondering me all this time, how could this both have been together for so long without anyone interfering. That just isn't like things are normally working. The heads of the vampires would have had no reason to leave them be like that. Even if he is the official heir to the throne, back then especially that should've been a reason to keep an eye on him. Maybe things would've been different now. After a while of driving and a short conversation I noticed something odd. This was going to well. I looked at her.

"Y/N? Are you alright?" I carefully asked "are you-" she looked back and I had to swallow, her eyes were glowing red. It was almost like they were soaking me in. "stop that Y/N! The road!" I couldn't move, my body was frozen. Before I could do anything the car started to fling, I had no control over it anymore, it crashed. "Fuck" I moaned out "Y/N" I grabbed her shoulders to turn her around to me, she was bleeding. This scent, she smelled so familiar. My head started hurting, fuck not now. I could feel my throat getting dry. I let go of her, covering my mouth with my hand. "I need to get out of here" I could feel the thirst taking over my mind.
