Walking through the halls, I approach the front of the school. My next class is art, and surprisingly, and thankfully, it is my last hour. Right by the doors to be released from this hell of a place, I could just sprint right out the door. All I would be shouting today though is, "236 more days left".
Once I got up to the main doors, I saw someone walk into the commons. I didn't recognize him at all, he might be new here. He looks about my age, maybe younger, but he looks so confused. He started to walk clueless about where he was going and ran into the counselor's office. I walked over to the door, interested to hear if he was a student or not. I know that I really shouldn't eavesdrop, but something about him drew me close.
As he walked out of the counselor's office, I got a better glimpse at what he looks like. Through his black shirt, which was pulled tight because of his backpack, you could see the edges of his rough and fascinatingly intricate abdomen. As I study him further, I see a strong jawline that is almost sharp enough to cut your hand as it ran across his chin. I got to his face and almost fainted. This guy had bright ice blue eyes, a pointed nose so sexy that you could make just his nose a model, and his soft, thin-lipped smile.
I so badly want to walk up to him and introduce myself, but what would I say.
"Hey, are you new here? Hey, you look lost, do you need help?" I thought through my head.
I am determined to make at least one more friend this year. I am. Then, all of a sudden, it hit me.
The ringing in my ears was back, and it gradually became louder when he got closer. Maybe he was the whole reason for my ears being stupid. Maybe he was the thing that was supposed to make my life better. Maybe he was going to be a total mistake in my life or an angel sent to me for my sanity's sake. Who knows, maybe this year might be good. I just hope now that I don't have last hour with him.
...
I walked into art class just before the bell rang. Yet again, I am in the back of the class. At least in here, I am by the window, which is good because the art room is always so fricken hot. Then, the worst thing happened.
HE WALKED IN!
Mr. Berkins looked over to him and asked for his name. Once he had him in his attendance he shouted out to the class.
"Hello, good morning everyone! You all know me from last year and you know that I love art! Just so you all know, we have a new student in here now! Everyone, this is Leviathan Marcence! Now, let's get to work! Everyone, make your..."
I started drowning out as Mr. Berkins kept going on about our new projects. I just couldn't get my mind off of Leviathan. Oh, those abs. I want him so bad now. Why am I thinking like this? What is going on with me? Is this all over one guy?
He began to walk over to where I am sitting. Is this where his seat is? Does my breath stink? Oh crap! Oh, fricken crap!
"Hello, I'm Leviathan as Mr. Berkins announced. You can call me Levi though. Um, I guess we are table partners then." He said it soft enough that no one else in the room could hear him.
The ringing in my head was so overbearingly loud right now. If this guy is the cause of my head pain, then at least he is hot. There is always an upside to a bad event. Just now, I have to figure out what is wrong with me.
