Death's Grip

When we walked into the door of the warehouse we saw my parents. Elisa and Jacob sitting in a chair with ropes cutting into their necks and wrists. Blood was spilling from my dad's mouth where it looks as though their kidnapper had punched. Bruises and cuts were everywhere and I felt as though my parents were goners. My father looked over to me and tried to say something. The words were jumble and muted by the rope and my heart just sank. Here are my parents in the hands of some lunatic trying to get into my head.
I screamed louder than ever before. Levi ran into the warehouse now to see what I had screamed about. Terror rained through my thoughts as i saw him run in.

After he took his strides into the grand room, there was a shadow that began to form around him. Legs sprouted and first, one wing, then another. A demon! A demon took my parents! But how would a demon get into this world? Maybe Levi was hiding something from me. What was there for him to hide besides how he keeps such an amazing fit boxer-like look? What could he possibly have to do with any of this?

"Levi, there is something behind you!" I screamed at him.

All of a sudden the next thing I knew I was knocked out. I felt a tingle in my side where I was blown with a fist. My head ached after it had fallen to the floor. And no, I did not get my head cut off. This has probably been the worst day of my life so far. The only part about being knocked out that sucks is that I don't know what is going on around me. Not only that but who knows what someone could be doing to me. Rape, severing my leg off, eating my brain. This is the closest I have ever come to death. That is when I completely blacked out.

"Isabella!? Isabella!? Isabella!? Can you hear me? I'm an EMT and I am going to get you to the hospital."

The words stung my head. The light was so bright. I could feel dried blood on my forehead. What happened? Where was I even at?

Was last night all a dream? Did I just fall and break my neck on my dresser? What about Levi?

The air flew past me as we rushed through many doors. The doctors were checking on me every few seconds as we ran. Room after room after room passed until finally we made it to number 658. My room.

White was all I saw. White is all I will ever see. White. Take me sweet death! Take me and release me from this pain!

The nurse walked in, checked my vitals, and walked out. About ten minuets later, the doctor arrived.

"Darling, you were attacked by a man. We need to check you for any signs of external assault and rape. We need you to remove your clothes as best as you can, get into a gown, and use this walker here to help you get down to examination room 2A."

As soon as the doctor was out of the room I started getting undressed. I looked at my body in the mirror as I stood naked. I had bruises the deepest purple, nearly black, everywhere. What did this guy do to me? Once I noticed a pain I immediately felt as though I had been raped. My lower body ached as though someone shoved a knife up into my uterus. I couldn't hold the pain anymore. I sat down, still examining my body, and nearly fainted because of my breasts. They have never been so bruised. I am only a B36 bra size. What happened? Pain ran through my whole body now. Did this demon man try to kill me?

Levi! Where is Levi at!? He was with me when the demon showed up! What happened to him!?

All of a sudden the door opened into my room.

"Miss, would you like me to help you down to the examination room?" the kind nurse asked.

With that, I stood up and ran. I ran harder and faster than anyone would have ever seen me in track. My heart pounded into my head and throat making it nearly impossible to breathe.

My sprint almost over, I realized that my doctor has come after me. Now.it was really time to run.
