Dearest,
Pair up, pair up. Ms. Velasquez said as she tapped her shoes on the wooden floors of the rehearsal room. Tap. Tap. Tap. And my heart goes Lub dub lub. I’m not a fan of dancing and I am not fond of it too. But as she tapped her dancing shoes I frantically looked for a partner to choose.
In the sea of people pairing up, I stood there waiting for someone to come up. I waited and waited and as the people around me started to clear I looked across the room and was met by a pair of black orbs. The same orbs that always give my heart a leap. And as I stared onto those eyes, I started to get lost.
‘Ondrea, Aurick. Pair up!’
