No exceptions, no disappointments, just skin on skin.

. . . .

It was hard for him, no doubt. Bellamy struggled with the death of Clarke, and the absence of his sister. Knowing he couldn't contact her, as he was all the way in the vast darkness of the sky, and she was buried beneath the crust of the fallen earth. He was alone now, with the same people for the next 5 years. Not that he had a problem with any of them--

...Well, maybe there was one.

She had tried on numerous accounts to murder his sister, Clarke, and several others he cared about. She tried to destroy Skaikru so that Azgeda could rule over everyone. She betrayed him, and the entire bunker that could have saved them was blown up along with Gina because of her. He trusted her, he put his faith in her, and she lost it. She lost all of it.

And truth be told, he should have choked her back when she tried to kill Octavia the second time. He should have let her sink that knife into herself, but a part of him couldn't. Maybe he was trying for Clarke. Maybe for his sister. Maybe it was the fact that she helped them get here, help them into space. It's no matter, he will never trust Echo

So the question burning in his brain still stands, how will he ever live with Echo? And for 5 years?

. . .

It had been one month.

Maybe not exactly, but it was close. It felt longer, but Raven and Murphy had set up a calendar system to keep track of how long they would have to wait until returning home, back to the ground. Already 30 days in, though, and they've already started arguing about wether it's the 30th day or the 31st.

"I'm telling you, Reyes, it's the 30th. You forgot a day, I'm sure of it."

"I did not forget a day. And last time I checked, I have a higher IQ than a third grader like yourself."

"Well, lucky for you, third grader here can count, unlike you."

"You added an entire day we were here! There is no 31st, because today is the 30th!" Raven groaned.

"No, no absolutely not." He crossed his arms, and looked to the crappy calendar. They'd found paper that was close to brittle, yellow in color almost, and a marker that was basically dried up. Bellamy wouldn't even call it red, anymore. It laid out on the cold metal table, the sides turned upwards and the top slightly ripped. It had X's going through the days, and all were perfect number's 1-29. But once it got to thirty was where it got messy.

"Just wait until I get the computers running up, once I get all the systems to reboot and heat up, it'll say it was the 30th." She pointed to the 31st on the calendar that Raven had scribbled out when she saw it, initiating this entire argument. "And that this day hasn't even happened."

"How do you even know it's March? It could be any damn month."

"Because we still had time back on the Arc, you dumba-"

"Okay!" Bellamy had interjected after countless of minutes of them bantering back and forth. "We have a lot to get done right now, the algae farm needs to be tended to, the air scrubbers and hydroplane farm as well. Not to mention this place could use some serious dusting and cleaning so let's get on that. Shall we?"

Raven and Murphy groaned and the others all agreed. Monty, Harper, and Emori went down to the algae farm, Raven went to the scrubbers and (unfortunately) Murphy also joined her, leaving Echo and him to deal with the rest.
