I ran and I continued to run. I heard Harry screaming my name but I wasn't going to go back. Never. Never again. The light got closer and closer and soon I could distinguish what the light was. It was a street light for a deserted street. I sighed in relief. I didn't know where I was but I'd figure it out. I looked left and right but other than the street lights. There was no sign of civilization. Do I walk left or right was the only question I had. I ran to the right so Harry was left of me so I decided to walk right. The night seem relentless and I soon grew tired. A town had to be somwhere close and I'd call my mom and I'd be safe again. I saw the sun rising in the East and I saw the outline of a road sign. Welcome to Easton. I walked to the next town over and not to my hometown but it's okay. I was safe. I was so close to freedom and I wasn't a captive anymore. My brain flashed to Harry and his green eyes and brown hair and i shook my head. Harry was bad. Harry was evil and I'm never seeing him again and I made a promise to myself. No Harry until the day I died. I walked into Easton police department and I called my mom. The police questioned me asking if I was alright and I reassured them that I was okay. They still watched me closely as i twindled my thumbs until they realized I was the girl on the missing posters. My mother never informed the authorities that I was no longer missing and so they questioned me some more.

I couldn't turn Harry in so I lied and said I ran away from home thinking I could make it on my own but i obviously couldn't. My mother walked into the station and hugged me.

"it's time to come home maria." and I nodded.

My life went on from there.

I went to college and made a life for myself.

I've kept my promise and that was the last night i've ever saw Harry again.
