NATSUS POV
"Let go of me!" Nashi said as I dragged her all the way to the guild. She managed to free herself and I turned around to her. "Nashi, I don't believe that this is how Lucy raised you. Stop being so arrogant towards the adults."
She rolled her eyes.
"I'm not arrogant. And don't bring my mom into this!" She exclaimed.
I clenched my fist. "I really doubt Lucy would be happy, that you snuck everybody out and made them lie." I hissed.
She laughed.
"My mom had never problems with me going out. I don't really understand why is everyone making such a fuss about it. So we were drinking. And what? Aren't we allowed to have fun?" She asked, crossing her arms.
"Nashi. What would Lucy say, is she saw you being arrogant like this?" I asked her, crossing my arms as well.
Her eyes widened.
"STOP DRAGGING MY MOM INTO THIS!" She shouted, trembling.
"YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HER! STOP ACTING LIKE ANY OF YOU ACTUALLY KNOWS HER! NOR ME! YOU CANT EVEN FIND HER! YOU WIZARDS ARE COMPLETELY USELESS!" She kept screaming, her whole body shaking.
My hand acted on reflex. She held her cheek, that was a bit red from my slap.
I grabbed her shoulders. "Nashi! First of all, I have no idea why you hate wizards so much, but we all want to help you! Lucy was one of us, of course we want to find her! And it would really help us, if you stopped being an arrogant brat, and stopped acting like the whole world belongs to you!" I shook her a bit.
She was frozen.
I let go of her and turned around. "Let's go."
Before I could make a step more, Nashi started running away.STORMS POV
I sat on the grass, watching the flow of the river. The moon light was making the water glitter.
I was kinda lucky that my dad was away. My mom was too tired from being pregnant again, as she told me, and nobody else knows about it, not even dad, yet.
I couldn't get my mind away from that club. Seeing Nashi, as she laughed and seemed happy.....she was being really cute.
I sighed.
Suddenly I heard a rustling sound.
From the bushes, Nashi stumbled out.
"Oh. What happened?" I asked, as I saw she had a red cheek.
She shook her head. "Not your business."
I sighed. "Okay. If you say so."
She sat down, beside me, looking at the river at well. We sat there in complete silence.
"Aren't you grounded?" She asked me. I chuckled. "My parents aren't that strict."
"You at least have them." She whispered.
I looked over to her. She was hugging her knees, her chin on them. Her hair was messy, but still it somehow shined in the moon light. Her eyes were closed, as she dug her nails into her arm.
She seemed so small. Without her ego and attitude, right now, she really looked like a small girl.
"I just.....want my mom back." She whispered. I moved closer to her, gently hugging her with one arm over her shoulders. "It will be okay. We'll find her." I said.
She looked at me, her beautiful brown eyes shining.
Suddenly she turned around and moved away. "What the hell am I saying to you....?" She asked herself.
I chuckled.
"Hey. Don't make fun of me!" She said and pushed me. I could see the hint of fun in her eyes, as she did that.
"I'm sorry. You just can't laugh at that face." I teased her. Her eyes widened. "What did you just say?" She picked out a stick and threw it on me. I dodged.
"See?" I teased her again.
"Oh come one!" She exclaimed, laughing. I smiled at her. "See? It's better when you laugh."
She smiled, and quickly turned her head away from me. From the corner, I could see the blush on her cheeks, and I started to feel it on mines too.
I coughed.
"So........ you gonna tell me what happened?" I asked.
She looked at me from the corner of my eye. "Promise not to laugh."
I held up my pinky. "Promise."
"I've just........been scolded......I guess." She looked at me. I tried hard not to laugh. She shook her head. "Come on! It's not funny! Nobody ever scolded me aside my mother, but that doesn't count!" She said, trying to protect her pride.
I couldn't help but to giggle a bit.
"I'm sorry Nashi, I just...." I didn't finish when I saw her glare.
I moved closer and hugged her with one hand again. "But you feel better, after telling me, don't you?" I asked.
She slowly nodded.
"See?" I smiled and cupped her cheek. She giggled.
She was acting like someone completely different right now. She was really cute.
"Nashi?" Uncle Natsu appeared, looking at us. We moved away from each other, and turned away from him.
"Storm? Could you leave us alone?" He asked. I nodded, gave Nashi last look, and went away, my hands in my pockets.NASHIS POV
Natsu sat down next to me, from other side like Storm was. We sat there in silence.
"Look, Nashi, I'm sorry for slapping you like that." He began.
I shook my head. "No, I was acting like a spoiled brat. I deserved it. It's just......" I hugged my knees. "Nobody ever acting so concerning towards me before. Not including my mom." I sighed.
Natsu stared at a point on the horizon.
"Is she a good mom?" He asked quietly.
I looked at the same spot.
"Somewhat. She tries, but she is really not the type to me all parentally and all."
"When she was younger, she was just like you." He whispered.
I chuckled.
"She keeps telling me, I'm just like my father."
Natsu looked at me, confused. "You told us, even Lucy didn't know....." "I lied okay?!" I explained. "She knew very well. She just refused to tell me." Is sighed.
Natsu shook his head. "I can't believe Luce would do something like that." "Were you two close?" I asked him.
"Why do you think so?" Was his answer.
"The nickname, you used."
Natsu blushed. "I guess. We were best friends at start and slowly grew into lovers. When she left I felt like she took part of me with her." He whispered.
I shook my head. "I can't believe my mom left this place. She lived it here ya know? She didn't know I found out, but she kept fotos of you all."
"If I remember correctly, you told us Lucy never told you about us."
"She didn't." I said and straightened my legs. "But she underestimated my powers." I giggled.
"So, are you really not mad at me?" Natsu asked, rubbing the back of his head.
"Nope. Everything's fine." I laughed.
"Great. Wanna go back?" He asked, standing up.
I smiled, as he held out a held. "Sure."
...
Fine. Magic. Don't. Kill. Hate. Do. Not. Forget.
Another wave of sharp pain, went through my head. I fell downs digging fingernails into my head. "Nashi!?" Natsu held my shoulders, as I was shaking.
Finally the pain went away.
I shoved his hands aside. "Stop touching me!" I screamed, got up and ran away.
