Nashi (under Rewrite)

The truth

LOKE POV
Nashi's eyes rolled into the back of her head, her whole body trembled as she fell to the ground. "Nashi!" I screamed.
There was a hint of light coming from her eyes, and when I came closer and opens them, one was pitch black magic and the other one pitch red. "No." I whispered.
"Loke!" A shout that could have been only from Erza made me turn around.
The vines from Nashi's back were running wild. One of them flew in the direction of others, somehow passed through Levy's shield and hit a girl, looking like Erza, just with blue hair.
I shook Nashi. "Nashi! Wake up!" I screamed at her.
I small giggle came out of her lips. "I. Am. Awake."
I swallowed when I heard the voice. Fortunately she was whispering, so I hope anybody else heard her.
I clenched my teeth. "Get the fuck away from her." I hissed.
The thing in Nashi giggled again. "Oh. How. Nice. Thanks. To. You. For. Sending. Her. To. Other. Wizards. It's. Really. Easy. To. Win. Her. Over. Now." The thing hissed.
I smirked. "Not so fast bitch. If you could take her over, you would've done that completely and not after Nashi lost consciousness. And besides...." I said taking out the key, hidden in my pocket. The thing in Nashi widened her eyes, when she saw it. "You can't really go up against this." I said, pressing it into Nashi's forehead.
"AAAAAAAAAAAH!" Nashi's scream made my blood froze, but with that the scream of that thing, gradually disappeared, until it was only Nashi laying in my arms.
"Loke! What the hell was that supposed to be?!" Sting ran over to me, holding a small girl in his arms.
I sighed. "That's for too long. What happened?" I asked.
Sting fell to his knees, trembling. "I....I.....Yui.... Wendy is helping Rogue, he is going to be okay but Yui........." Sting trembled as he held his daughter in his arms.
"Bring me to her." Nashi whispered, making me flinch from surprise. "Nashi? You don't want to...?" She shook her head and opened her eyes. One of them was back to normal, but one was still pitch red.
I swallowed, helding Nashi up and bringing her close to Sting and Yui. "What?" Sting asked when Nashi held her hand in front of Yui's face and snapped her fingers.
Everyone looked amazed at the purple light that surrounded Yui. After a few minutes it came back to Nashi's hand and she collapsed one again, a flow of blood coming from her mouth. "Nashi!" I screamed.

"Is she going to be okay?" I asked Wendy, who was clearly tired from all that healing, that was standing over Nashi, trying to heal her. She sighed. "I'm pretty sure she will. She doesn't really have any outer injuries, it's more of a mental breakdown. I'm more concerned about Berry, though......" Wendy looked over to the blue haired girl, that was sweating a lot. "The vine had to be covered in poison. But I can't find out which one." Wendy sighed.
"What was that for a magic anyways. She used the Dragon Slayer magic, than Celestial than healing and then the vines.......," Juvia was clearly confused. She was breathing heavily and holding her stomach.
I swallowed as I felt everyone's stares on my back.
"Loke? Would you mind explaining?" Erza hissed.
I sighed. "I really doubt it would make any sense, trying to hide it from you now. Fine. But let's go somewhere else. I don't want Nashi to hear it." I parted her head and smiled at her.
Sting nodded, now relieved that his daughter and son are okay, both sleeping in their rooms. "Let's go to the arcade room. No one will be there around this hour."

"We are listening Loke. You better speak." Levy crossed her arms and leaned back on the couch. I inhaled. "Just promise you won't interrupt me. It's hard to say even for me, but when I imagine that Nashi would have to talk about it....." I closed my eyes.
"Fine. Just tell us the truth this time." Mira hissed.
I inhaled and began. "Lucy found out that she was pregnant, after a month since the havoc at the guild. You already know it was not her, but back then it wouldn't really be easy to explain, and she was already weakened from being pregnant. After a few months, living in Hargeon Nashi was born."
I could feel how they stared at me. Erza was sitting straight in her armor, Jellal hugging her around her shoulders and their son Simon leaning against Erza's knees. Their daughter Strawberry was still unconscious. Levy was sitting close to Gajeel, and their kids we on the bar chairs. Sting and Akatsuki were sitting on my sides, they knew the story as well. Mira was sitting beside Wendy, which was trying hard not to fall asleep, since she was tired out from the healing. Mira's daughter Nova was leaning against the knees of Storm, the son of Gray and Juvia, and both of them were sitting next to each other, Juvia being pressed unto Gray, as he was hugging her.
Natsu was the only one sitting alone, and I could feel the nervousness coming from him.
It was impossible not to notice that Nashi is his child, but I was not sure that it is a right thing to tell them.
I comtinued.
"Nashi was a different child from the beginning. Her father....." "I'm really sorry for interrupting but who was Nashi's father. She told us she doesn't know." Mira said. I though about it for a moment. I looked at Sting and he nodded, saying that it would be bad not to tell them the whole truth. I sighed. "Fine. I kinda think that everyone guessed it already though." I looked at all of them, Natsu stiffened. I nodded. "Yes Natsu. She is your child." As I said this the whole room went silent. "So Lucy ran away from the guild, pregnant already?" Wendy asked. I nodded. "She was pregnant already even before that day. But, going back to Nashi, she was different. For instance, the day Lucy gave birth to her, both of them almost died. You see, Nashi is actually really powerful. Her magic power is vast, and her type is unique. Her magic is Mimic." "Mimic? Isn't it the magic that copies the magic of their opponent?" Gajeel asked. I nodded. "Normal Mimic yes. But because Nashi is special in this case, she can copy any style or type of magic, change it, and use it as her own attack. All she has to do, is to see the attack." "Something like that exists?" Metallicana asked, really surprised. I shook my head. "It shouldn't. But as I told you Nashi is special." "What's with that special thing? Special in what?" Nova asked. "I'm getting to it." I said. "You see, as I already told you Nashi is Natsu's child, but the pink hair isn't the only thing she got from him. Natsu," I said looking at him. He maintained eye contact with me. "She also got you END demon." "What??!!" The adults shouted in unison. I nodded. "Unfortunately yes. It's not the same demon, it manifested during the years and grew in order to fit Nashi. But it's there, and it's slowly killing her." "Nashi was always a loud one." Akatsuki interrupted me, looking at the ceiling. "She was always the one to tell what she really thinks and did what she wanted to. But sometimes, her mood changed really quickly, and since she got older, it happened more and more often. In one moment she was sweet, and in the other one, she was lying in the pain on the ground, then getting up and being pissed at the whole world." "Something like that happened." Natsu said. "She was talking to me normally, and then suddenly started to scream that she mages magic and wizards." "Or the pain." Gale said. "She told us that she has anemia, collapsing for no reasons. As the time went by, it was happening more and more often." "And when we asked her she always gave the same reply. 'Completely fine'." Storm finished. I nodded.
"All of this was the demon's fault. She is slowly changing Nashi, eating her from inside. It may be from your END demon Natsu, but it's completely different. It's alive, it's an independent being. She tries to take over Nashi, and as time goes by, it's harder and harder for Nashi to keep her under control. Being around magic, is only making it worst. That's why, Lucy wanted Nashi to live a normal life, and that's why Nashi was feeling worst and worst, since coming to fairy tail."
"That's why Nashi hates magic so much?" Gale asked.
I could hear Sting sighed next to me. He wasn't there when it happened........but he and Yukino were the ones that helped Lucy and Nashi to maintain their relationship.
"Not quite. There is another story next to it."
"So tell us." Erza said. I shook my head. "I don't think. It's not really that important."
"And besides, it's my story to tell." Everybody turned to around to Nashi, who was leaning against the door, eye bags under her eyes, her clothes ripped, and dried blood on her face.
"Nashi! You should sleep!" I stood up in order to help her, but her glare stopped me. Instead, Akatsuki got up and Nashi leaned on him, as he took her to sit down.
"Since you are already telling them everything, why skipping that? It's quite important since Sammy came." She said, while sitting down, the whole time glaring in my direction.
"You don't have to say it." I said, worried. She shook her head. "I believe now, that they really want to save my mom. You know why." I knew very well what she meant by that. I nodded. "Fine. Just know that you can stop whenever you want to." She thanked me with a soft smile, and Akatsuki hugged her around her shoulders.

NASHIS POV
I rested my head on Akatsuki's shoulder. Everyone was looking at me, some normally. But some of them, including Metalli, Nova, Simon, Wendy, Erza and Jellal, had the stare. The stare, that people gave me that night. The stare of a person, who is both terrified and disgusted at the same time. The stare saying, you are a monster.
I swallowed and started talking, looking at the same spot the whole time, trying to ignore the people around me, and concentrate on Akatsuki's warm.
"It's true that I got the demon from my father, no idea who he was." I came too late to hear who is my father, and failed to hear it after. I could saw, that everyone sighed in relief when I said that, no idea why. "She is alive. And she is getting more and more annoying. She tries to take over me, she wants to take control. And kill me. But, for that I can't die sooner. Even that shield, that didn't come from me. It was her, her using my magic in order to protect me. She is a bitch what can I tell ya." I sighed. "She is a part of me, but also something that could kill us all. I lied about my magic, because the more I use it, the more I am around magic, the more she wakes up. Her waking up, you know what it does with me. Her voice is really annoying and constantly speaking, when she thinks I'll let her win."

Nashi. The. Whole. Truth? Really. Are. You. That. Naive?
Shut up, I though. I tried to mask the pain, Akatsuki helped me by moving a bit so my flinch wasn't visible. I thanked him with my eyes.
"Once she almost broke through. Not long after I turned 8, there were some people going after my mom and me. They needed the Zodiac Keys for something, but the demon in me as well. That day......" I inhaled trying to calm down. "That day, I saw someone very close to me, die. I was in my weakest state, and she sensed it. I killed everybody around me, and almost mom and Uncle Loke as well. She controls my emotions, the moment they go up really fast, she wakes up and tries to take over. But, yeah, my magic is Mimic. Thanks to her thought, I can use this magic however I want to, not that I want to though. Not only the magic helps her, but also I still think it's completely useless. That day......that day was the first time she spoke to me. From that day on, she talks to me, trying to get me either down or up. Doesn't matter what, if my emotions change too fast, she sense's it. That's why, I didn't want to talk about this, but now she is resting after what happened. She is still not yet powerful enough, in order to take me over completely, and has to rest after trying."
"And you've been living with this your whole life?" Levy asked. "She was with me from the start, but I started to hear her only that day."
"How did you suppress her back then?" Gray asked.
Uncle Loke answered. "Do you remember how I told you, that when Nashi was born, she and Lucy almost died? It was because of her. She was running loose, but somehow a Lost Celestial Spirit magic was able to suppress her. Lucy made multiple keys from it, in order for every Spirit to have one, so we can stop her. That's what I did before too." I knew about the keys. Of course I did. The pain when they were trying to make her sleep, was unbearable. We may be two different beings, but we share the same body. What hurts me, hurts me, and the other way around as well.
I could feel my eyes closing. Akatsuki saw it as well. "Fine, I think that's enough for now. You are barely awake, and we don't want you to pass out here again." He said, picked me up in the princess-style, and went out.
"Wait Akatsuki! Your room was destroyed!" Uncle Sting shouted behind me. "I'll go to Aunt's Minerva's. She is out on the mission it's mom anyways." Akatsuki answered and went out of the room. From behind his arm, I could see everyone staring at us.
No matter what, I'm a monster.
No matter what excuse I use, she is part of me.

And I'm part of her.
