Last Kiss

“Boo!”

“Ah!” I scream.

“Hahaha! Shame.” laughs my sister hovering over my bed.

“Oi.” I say frustrated that she’s woken me up.

“Come on, get up. Last day of school remember?”

“I know duh.”

How can I forget?

I climb out of bed and attempt to be cool and do a superman jump off the bed, but it fails. I land smack-bam flat on my face.

“Ow.” I say as I struggle to get back up.

I walk into the bathroom, brush my teeth and have a shower. I go back into my bedroom and chuck on my denim skinny jeans and my school top so everyone can sign it. Then I put on my I <3 JB hoodie over my top, grab my phone and stuff my I Pod and headphones into my back pocket.

I run downstairs and grab one of the freshly baked chocolate muffins that lies on the table. I take one bite and run back for another to take with me.

My dad gives me a huge hug before I head out the door.

I nibble my muffin down the street, my hood covering my face from the cold.

I reach the nearest corner shop and decide to get a drink. I pick up a Red Bull and down it in one go. This is gonna make me hyper for the rest of the day.

Super bass plays on my I Pod and I sing along so loud everyone just looks at me like I’m crazy.

Nicki Minaj is soooo annoying but I like this song so I dance all the way to school.

When I reach the school gates I see all of the newly recruited Year 7’s and think of my first days of high school. It seems not so long ago at all but the time goes so fast, no one even knows where it’s gone.

Walking into form class is nice for a change. Everyone greets me and we all talk about all our memories in this school and how we are all going to miss it.

This is going to be a good day.

Half way through lesson two me, Mia and Sophie have our last piano lesson of this year. Not for me because I’m taking it in sixth form but for these two it’s goodbye. They say their last farewells to our piano teacher, and then the bell goes for break.

As soon as I turn around the corner into the garden Jesse springs up in front of me and kisses me for a while.

“Ewww!” I hear from Mia. “Stop shoving your tongue down my friend’s throat will you.” she says walking on with Sophie.

I laugh as we come up for air.

“Hey.” I say wrapping my arms around his neck.

“Hi.” He grins.

He squeezes me so tight and sweeps me off of my feet and swings me around in circles.

“Hehe.” I giggle.
