Part 2; I’m Just Another Fan…Aren’t I?

Standing there I was pretty shocked, tears started to stream as I ran out of the room and out of the building in to the fresh air. It was such a shock, this had all been such little warning that I didn’t know I really felt. As I dried my tears, Scarlett, Tom and Zac walked out.

“Hey…you alright? You looked so scared!” Scarlett said.

“I’m fine, its just a bit of a shock. If I’d had more warning I would have been fine.” I laughed.

“There here for you though, they’ve come to see what you can do.” Tom explained.

“Did you guys set this up by any chance?” I asked raising an eye brow.

“Maybe…” Zac replied.

“You did didn’t you!” I huffed.

“We did, there’s just a lot of explaining behind it. Now get inside and talk to them, they feel bad for making you upset.” Scarlett instructed.

“Alright.” I sighed.

Opening the door, my hands started to shake like mad. They stood with there backs to me as I walked round them. When I stood in front of them, I noticed them flicking through my script I’d wrote. I bit down on my lower lip as Scarlett gave me a brave smile.

“So you’re the famous Mollie Allen?” Niall said, his sweet Irish accent ringing in my ears.

“Not so much famous…but yeah.” I sighed.

“You’re nervous aren’t you?” Liam asked. I nodded, my hands shaking even more.

“Look we’re sorry for making you cry, that’s the one thing we hate seeing our fans cry.” Louis apologised.

“I’m a sensitive person, I even broke down in the middle of the street when I got tour tickets to see you guys.” I admitted as I felt my cheeks burn up.

“Don’t be scared to admit it, everyone has the fan girl moments.” Zayn laughed. That made me smile, these guys were my inspirations…it didn’t seem real.

“Mollie would you like to show the boys your performance?” Mrs asked and I nodded.

Going in to the canteen with the boys around me, all the girls screamed. Making my way through the crowds I made my way over to my friends; Charlie, Sophie, Lilly, Tom, Zac, Mitch, Matt and Sam. Of course you had Mitch’s girlfriend Olivia, Toms girlfriend Carly and Sam girlfriend Nadia. As for the rest of us we were all single, but we weren’t bothered because we had each other.

“Oh my god, how have I only just noticed that One Direction is standing in this room?” Lilly gasped.

“You’re so behind I swear!” I laughed.

“Sorry!” She moaned.

“I take it you freaked when you meet them.” Matt guessed.

“Considering they walked in to my drama room, I was pretty shocked.” I explained.

“Who wouldn’t be?” Sophie asked. Suddenly I felt someones hands on my shoulders as everyone else stood there shocked.

“Hey Mollie, can we speak to you a second?” A voiced asked as I crained my neck to see Zayn behind me.

“Yeah…sure.” I replied, my voice slightly shaking.

Walking around the quiet school grounds, I didn’t know what to say to any of the boys. Everyone had gone off to lessons by now and they wanted to speak to me as I showed them round the school.

“Why are you here anyway? Why is it you’ve picked me in particular?” I questioned.

“We’ve picked you because there’s something special about you…” Louis answered.

“There’s nothing special about me, I’m just another fan.” I said.

“You’re a fan that’s stood out amongst them all thanks to your friend Scarlett.” Zayn started.

“Like any other fans you’ve had your troubles, but what you do is take it out in a way that other people think is stupid.” Liam added.

“Yeah, in my writing. Not that anyone pays attention to it, but yeah….” I whispered..

“Of course people pay attention, they love your writing.” Niall said.

“We’ve kept an eye on your twitter for months now and read some of your stories because the fans have tweeted the links to us about 10,000 times.  We’ve all read our individual ones and there amazing.” Harry explained. That’s when I stopped and looked at them, shaking my head slightly.

“You don’t believe us do you?” Louis asked.

“Its just…you guys are my inspiration. I’d never think you’d read what I write.” I admitted.

“How do you feel about us reading what you write?” Liam asked.

“A bit shocked. Today doesn’t seem real.” I replied.

“Well it is, now look…we want to offer you a deal.” Zayn began, this deal would change my life.

“OH MY GOD, MY FANFICTIONS ARE GETTING PUBLISHED!” I screamed running through the front door. Taking a deep breath I stood in the kitchen and jumped about 10 foot in the air as my mum just stood there and looked at me.

“What the hell have you had a school today?” She asked.

“I meet One Direction, they want to publish my fanfics!” I gasped.

“Wow, that’s amazing but we don’t have the money and you know that.” Mum pleaded.

“BUT…the boys have said that they will pay to get the first one published for me.” I replied.

“Look, I’ll agree to it that you start to focus on your GCSEs and your future for the next few weeks.” Mum insisted.

“Mum this is my future; you don’t see how hard I work on both revision and my future. If you don’t respect what I’m doing…fine.” I huffed.

“But I do respect you…” Mum sighed.

“If you did why didn’t help me when I needed it most? This time two years I was sat in my room having mental break downs and crying my self to sleep. No one bothered to ask if I was ok, yet when One Direction came on to the scene everything changed for me. they helped me more than you did. If it wasn’t for them, we’d probably have no money in 3 months because we’d be broke. There doing this for me to help me become who I really want to be.” I cried. My mum just sighed, she didn’t care at all. I ran upstairs to my room and switched on my laptop, turning up the music and started my revision. I rumandged through my blazer pockets when a piece of paper fell out, on there was a note from Zayn with his number

“Call me maybe? – Zayn.” This didn’t seem right.
