"Ellina! Wake up! We have to go, or we are going to be late!" Ashley's voice startled me as I realized I fell asleep. It had been a fantastic nap. I could tell because of the obvious red marks streaking the side of my face. I was shivering. Why was my room so cold? I stared into my mirror to fix my face and hair. I threw my long blonde hair up into a messy bun. Then I did a casual makeup look. Before I threw in my contacts, I noticed my eyes were a midnight colour. I assumed it was just the lighting. I laugh at myself, before standing up and heading out my bar like door.

"Sorry I took so long Ashley..." I smile, hoping she'd understand.

"I was being dramatic Ellie. Calm down." Her bright white smile clearly shone through the night. Ellie was my nickname. It had been forever since anyone had called me that.

We headed down the dark corridor, it hadn't changed much. Still the same old mossy bricks, and dark flickery lights. There was only a slight change. The door to the cafeteria was different, brighter. Less muggy. Instead of old mossy stone bricks for posts, there were fancy white quartz like posts with a beautiful fringed edging. It's incredibly detailed. The face of our general carved into both sides. His beautiful wife's name handwritten in the best of soldiers writing. I knew something was different. It wasn't me, It was the entrance. The farther we walked the closer we got to the food. I could smell everything. The greasy bacon, the ice cream filling my senses with delight. Trays and trays of it.

"Hey! Get out of my way!" A tall dark haired boy screeched from behind me.

"What the hell is your problem!" I could tell I had made a mistake. He was tall, and extremely buff. What have I done!? His pale face turned a bright red as he looked straight at me. He began to smile awkwardly.

"Ellie?" He questioned me with a lighter tone. Almost as if he'd forgotten he had yelled at me.

"ZERO!!!" I giggle with excitement before throwing myself into his arms. Our eyes locked, his dark amber eyes glittered as if tears were about to fall from them. He was as warm as ever. I missed hugging him, in fact i regret not being here with him for so long. He mentioned that he missed me before we headed towards the table.

"Damn it! I forgot to grab food." I look up at Ashley as she's slowly walking towards the large wooden table that's holding all the food. I nodded towards her. She smiled and nodded back. It had been a few minutes before she brought back two plates. One was filled with bacon and a large bowl of ice cream, and the other had salad, lots and lots of salad. I'm assuming she's on one of her stupid little diets. Ashley slowly handed me the plate. I spent a few minutes to just stare at the delicious bacon and the half full bowl of vanilla ice cream. Which both just so happen to be my favorite.

"Thanks Ash, you know me too well." I wink at her before bringing all my attention towards Zero. He really was a lot better looking than I had remembered. Of course I guess I know why I didn't remember. I can point this out again.. It's against the rules
