8. I Love You

 

(Carlie’s p.o.v)

            When Tyler kissed me I was surprised. I was shocked by his actions, but I wasn’t going to miss this opportunity so I started to kiss him back. It was so amazing. It was just us at this moment. If the house burned down I wouldn’t notice. Our lips moved in sync. It was like our lips were made for each other. When we pulled apart we were both breathing heavy. We stared in each other’s eyes and I saw the love in Tyler’s eyes.

“I Love You Carlie and I don’t want to lose you. I know we haven’t known each other for a long time but I feel like I’ve known you forever. I know this might be a shock and it’s ok if you don’t feel the same way. I just want to be your friend. Hopefully in the future we can be together. I Love you and I don’t want to deny it. I will shout it to the world. It might sound cheesy but I mean it.” Tyler said everything in a rush. He never broke eye contact with me.

            I didn’t know what to say. I was shocked he felt the same way. I knew he was telling the truth. I don’t know how, maybe another power, but he was telling nothing but the truth. I also could tell from the look in his eyes. I felt the same way I loved him way more probably.

“I love you too Tyler. So so much. I don’t want to lose you either. I want to be with you till the day I die. I just don’t understand how you can love me? I'm nothing compared to most girls. You can do better Tyler.” I said, defeated. I looked down. Afraid tears were going to escape.

“Shh” Tyler said, he raised my chin with one of his fingers. “Carlie, all you have to do is read my mind and know I’ve never loved another girl, you’re the one. I love you so much. You’re amazing and perfect and caring. I’ve never meant someone like you. Your smile lights up my world.”

He really loved me. I love him too. I don’t ever want to lose him never ever. He’s mine now and anyone who gets in our way is going to have some problems.

“I love you Tyler” I said. Tyler pulled me in a hug and kissed my lips and pulled away. I knew wanted to start kissing him. He was my personal addiction. Tyler laughed.

“We shouldn’t tell everyone else yet. I want it to be a surprise. Ill block your thoughts so Edward won’t know”, I told Tyler. He nodded and just smiled.

“I’ll be here every night though, no matter what you say I'm going to be by your side every night holding you”, Tyler said hugging me tight. I didn’t disagree I wanted him with me at night. I felt Tyler sigh.

“I have to go, my family is going to start worrying, see you tomorrow love” Tyler said kissing me and let go. I walked Tyler out and closed the door. I was so happy. Finally for once I'm happy. I laid down and fell asleep straight away. Dreaming about the boy who was now MINE.

(Tylers p.o.v)

            I couldn’t believe it. Carlie actually loved me too. We will wait to show our love in public but I’ll wait 100 years for her. I couldn’t stop thinking of her. Thank goodness that she’s blocking my thoughts. I got to the house in no time. I wished I was still with Carlie though. When I walked in the house everyone was in the living room waiting for me.

“Where were you?”, my mother said as soon as I walked in.

 “Everyone was worried sick” grandma said.

“I'm sorry I was with Carlie, we went hunting and then I went to her house and we hung out. I'm sorry I didn’t let you know” at least part of that was true. We didn’t hunt but we did talk. We did a little more than talking. Uncle jasper kept giving me looks, maybe because of my feelings. I was feeling a lot at the moment.

 

“Well I'm beat. I'm going to sleep, goodnight everyone.” I walked upstairs and hit the bed. I fell asleep fast. My last thought was that Carlie is finally MINE.
