After the poisoning, Iola refused to eat any type of cookies. It traumatized her too much. Just eating anything in general made her cautious. Because of that, she ended up learning how to cook for herself. She spent a lot of time in Peter's kitchen mostly because Aunt May didn't know how to cook and she wanted to cook for them.

"Tell dad I can't make it to dinner tonight," said Iola as they got out of school. Happy was waiting in front of the school ready to drive them to the facility.

"Again? This is the fifth dinner you're missing," said Rylan starting to get annoyed. He had to cover for her every time saying something had come up. Their dad was getting suspicious.

"I know. Please Rylan?" Iola pleaded pouting. Her brother sighed.

"Where are you going anyways? What's so important that you have to miss dinner?"

"Well...um...it's a secret," she said biting her lip and looking away. Rylan looked around in annoyance before glaring at her.

"I'm not covering for you anymore. Deal with dad yourself," he said getting into the car. Iola watched as the car drove away. Peter walked up to her and stood by her side.

"You should go," he said frowning.

"I don't want to. My dad is so overprotective over me. I can't cook my own food either. Plus, I want to spend time with you," she said hugging him. "I want to make up for the memories that I lost with you."

"Don't you think they'll start to suspect me?"

"We won't eat at your place today then," said Iola simply. A smile formed on her face when she pictured where she wanted to go.

"Where are we eating?"

Dr. Strange didn't mind allowing his student to use his kitchen. After all, it wasn't as if he could stop her. The boy she brought with her however, spiked his interest.

"I'm Peter Parker, her boyfriend," said Peter nervously as he shook Dr. Strange's hand. Strange inspected him up and down as he shook Peter's hand.

"Has your dad approve of this boy, Iola?" Strange asked raising an eyebrow at his student.

"I think he likes Peter a lot," said Iola grinning. Strange slowly nodded and allowed them to start cooking.

"I'll be in the library. Don't think I haven't noticed the missing books," said Strange much to Iola's surprise.

"Shit I thought I actually got away with it."

Tony felt betrayed and angry. His own daughter didn't want to eat dinner with him. It confused him and made him feel as if he had failed as a father. The first night Rylan said Iola wouldn't be coming back for the night he had shrugged it off. After a few more nights however, he was starting to think that Iola was purposely avoiding him. Even Rylan looked done with her. Tony watched as Iola walked out of the school by herself. He frowned, he had always thought that she went with Peter.

"Iola," he called catching her attention. Iola looked surprised to see him instead of Happy. She slowly walked up to him.

"Hey dad," she said guiltily.

"Get in. We're going home," he said sternly. Iola glanced back at the school where Peter was watching from the doors. She sighed before throwing her backpack into the car and getting in. Rylan walked over and gave her a look before getting into the passenger seat. The drive to the facility was completely silent. When they got back, they walked to the Stark suite.

"I need to talk to you, Iola," said Tony walking out to the balcony. Iola reluctantly followed and stood guiltily behind him. "Have I been a bad dad?"
