Author's note: I know this chapter is meant to be in Nate's POV (I always do it so that one is in Talia's POV, then Nate's, then Talia's and so on) but I thought this chapter would just work better if I kept it in Talia's POV, so here you go :)

TALIA'S POV
"Nate."
I threw a piece of popcorn at him and it bounced off his head, but he still did not turn to look at me.
"Nate," I said again, throwing another piece of popcorn in his direction and still getting no response.
It had been three days, three whole days, since Sophie's party and ever since Nate had been giving me the silent treatment. He'd stopped giving me a ride to school and sitting by me in class and as much as I hated to admit it, it was driving me insane.
I couldn't blame him for being angry. After all, when he'd seen me in the bathroom with Liam it definitely seemed like I had been making out with him. Then Sophie showing up had only made matters worse, causing Nate to leave the party. However each time I attempted to explain, he would either not respond or completely ignore me.
Eventually, Josh of all people had to step in. He'd invited me over and then abandoned me alone with Nate. I'd then gone ahead and put on one of Nate's favorite films, Star Trek, and made his favorite toffee popcorn. So far, neither of these two seemed to have been effective on him.
There was a knock on the door, before Josh put his head around it and smiled awkwardly at us. "Any luck?" He asked, raising his eyebrows at me.
I shook my head. "I tried, but he's just not talking."
Josh sighed and signaled for me to come outside, which I did hesitantly.
"What is it?" I asked, glancing back to where we had left Nate. Although considering the fact that he was completely ignoring me, he was probably glad that I had left him alone.
Josh put a finger on his lips and shook his head at me, before grabbing my arm and pulling me upstairs and into his room.
I instantly pulled a face, wishing he hadn't brought me in here. Of course I'd been in his room a couple of times, but each time I was still left slightly scarred. The dark blue walls were still plastered in posters of Megan Fox and the wooden flooring was still almost unrecognizable due to the large amount of clothes he'd left everywhere. I glanced towards his water bed in longing, wishing I had my own.
I watched as Josh went ahead and sat down on the bed, before patting the space next to him.
"Come sit down," he said, smiling at me in a strange and rather forced manner.
"Okay," I said, frowning at him but doing as he said.
Josh was acting strange, even for him that was pretty weird.
"Why are we in your room?" I asked.
"Because I didn't want Nate to hear," Josh said, slowly and softly.
My frown deepened. He must've been hanging out with his mom too much, because he sounded just like her when she was in therapist mode. Either that or he was losing his voice.
"Okay?" I said again, glancing around his room to distract myself from the awkwardness of the whole situation.
"Listen, I'm just going to cut to it," Josh began with a sigh. "Do you still like Nate?"
"Of course I still like Nate, he's my friend."
We'd had our ups and downs, plenty of downs in fact, but in these few months he'd definitely managed to become one of my closest friends again. Yes, I was not currently his favorite person ever, but no matter what I still liked him
