School was always dreaded on Mondays, or any day, really. Health was my first class of the day, which I didn't really mind, but I still didn't feel like going. Just as I was turning the corner into the Health and Sciences hallway I was pulled back. I go to scream, but a hand covers my mouth, and I'm pushed into a janitors closet.

I try fighting with all my might, even using some werewolf strength, but the person was just as strong as me, if not stronger, which worried me beyond belief. I squeezed my eyes tight when I heard the door close, but then a deep voice whispered in my ear, "Open your eyes."

I open them, anticipating a grown man, or one of the schools strongest athletes, but was instead met with the goofy grinning face of Derek. As soon as it registered in my mind that it was him, I grew angry and punched him in the stomach.

"What was that for?" He groans, clutching his stomach. I give him a look and cross my arms over my chest."

"'What was that for?'" I mimic and refrain from punching him again. "That was for abducting me into a janitors closet, you idiot." I say. He shrugs his shoulders. "Why'd you abduct me anyways?" I ask.

"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to skip at all." He wonders. It doesn't take me long to come to my conclusion, but I place a hand on my legging covered leg anyways. "Well, let me see. Go back to a class, where I will get yelled at for being late for. Thanks by the way," He gives me a cheeky smile while all I give is a sarcastic look. "Or, skip the day with my stupid best friend who will most likely get me in trouble or arrested." I pretend to weigh my hands but end up throwing them in the air with a smile. "I'm in. Let me go put my stuff in my locker."

His face breaks out into a smile and he laughs. "Who would have known, my little princess turning into a capital criminal." I roll my eyes and open the door to an empty hallway, walking all the way down to my locker and put all my books in it, grabbing my small shoulder bag and closing it as silently as I could, trying not to alert any of the teachers of us or where we are. I turn around and give him a thumbs up, letting him know that we were good to go. He grabs my wrist and pulls me to the doors on the side, and pushes them, making a lot of noise.

I smack his chest and motion to all the doors behind us, and he nods in understanding. We leave and run across the lot to the bike rack where he picks his up and gets on the set.

I was thankful I had picked a thick maroon sweater and black low converse as I climbed on the back of the bike and grabbed Derek's shoulders, the cold fall air nipping at my ears as my dark wavy hair was pushed back from my own shoulders. I didn't know what direction he was going in, but was happy nonetheless and laughing every time he did so.

We had soon came to the Beacon Hills Skating Rink, and I giggle in excitement. I had always wanted to go here when it wasn't crowded, as when we came at night everyone was here and it was hard to do anything fun on the ice.

I jump off of the bike and grab his hand, yanking him towards the door. He pulls out something from his pocket, but turns me around, not letting me see what he was doing. I hear a click and pretty soon my hand is grabbed and I'm pulled into the dark building. The only light on is the one over the center of the ice.  We go over to the counter and he jumps to the other side, grabbing us both skates.

We both lace up and I run, well what you can consider running in skates, and head to the ice. As soon as I was out there, I skate to the middle and do a spin jump. I see Derek looking at me through the glass and I motion him over excitedly. He looks at me then at his feet and while wobbling, goes onto the ice, gripping the ledge on the side for dear life.

"You know, I still don't know why you're afraid. I drag you here almost every other weekend. How have you still not learned?" I ask skating over to him.
