The school day had just finished and I was heading back to my house. When I walked in, I saw my sister laying on the couch reading a magazine, and my dad cutting a hole in the wall, with my mom no where t be seen. Most likely at either work or with the Hale's. I raised an eyebrow and closed the door behind me.
"Do I want to know why there is a big hole in the middle of the wall?" I asked, and my dad turned to face me and looked up for a second like he was thinking before he answered my question.
"Probably not."
"Do I need to know?" I ask again.
He makes a 'so-so' face before opening his mouth again. "Well, you could know, and then question, or back away and forget this ever happened."
My sister chuckled at that and got up, heading for the kitchen, but not before telling me, "No, you don't have to know."
"Alright then." I said, and walked up to my room. I smiled at my white walls covered with books and shelves before walking to my bathroom that was next to my balcony.
When I walked down the stairs in my comfortable clothes and wet hair, I was met with the Hale's sitting around the living room and relaxing like we do at each others' houses almost every Friday. I smiled at them all.
"Hey guys!" I exclaimed as I finished walking down all the stairs. I heard them all yell something back as I walked into the kitchen to start making dinner. After a while I heard the front door to the house open, signaling the return of my mother to the house.
"Mike why are you cutting a hole in my wall?!" I heard her shout and I chuckled to myself. I used my enhanced hearing to hear my dad's stumbling.
"Well, uh, darling-" He started and I tuned out, still laughing to myself. In a minute almost all the kids, and Peter, showed up and left Talia, Layne (Talia's husband), and my parents to talk about the hole.
Everyone in the kitchen was talking animatedly and I'd get the occasional Derek or Peter try sneak some food, which, like always, led me to smack their hands with the wooden spoon and my own hands when I was waiting for the food to cook. After Peter got hit about 4 times, he yelled "Why do you always do this!" while rubbing his hand.
"Because it's not ready yet, and it's every time you come over. You should know what's going to happen now!" I shout back with a smile on my face. All the girls laugh and Derek cracks a smile while all Peter does is scowl.
About 20 minutes later, all the food is done and we are seated at the dining room table, everyone being served and eating, having a goo time. All through dinner, we just talk about miscellaneous things, and towards the end, Derek starts making faces at me from across the table. I laugh and do the same. We ended up escalating to throwing things lightly and kicking each other under the table. Sooner than later, our parents look over here at the two of us and our activities, then smile a knowing smile at each other.
I raise my eyebrows at them and Derek does the same. "What?" We question at the same time and all our parents laugh before giving us an innocent look and mumbling 'nothing.'". I share a look with Derek and we head into the kitchen to start plotting our revenge.
If they weren't about to tell us what was going on, then we'd do the exact same.

Well, I know this one is short, but instead of trying to add irrelevant information, I just wanted to make it better.
