Chapter 1 life

I am a healer, whom takes care of others I used to help human kind. With their illness, anything as a rash, or them dyeing from cancer. I cure a lot of humans, than something happen they didn't believe me anymore. I had to close my healing shop in the city, thanks to the lack of business which I hated. I move back to my family's cottage into the redwoods woods. Until one day everything change, I had found a small white gorllia ape. I brought him to my home where I took care of him, during this time.

Apes had become smart but I didn't know how or why, but I didn't. care about how they came to be, little astro had become my best friends and kept me alone. Soon after the discover of this, I found more apes hurt. Near on their death bed, I heal them and nearly doesn't want to leave me. so they stay, and help me around the cottage, which I didn't mind, specially during winter and the bad snow storms.  And the summer months when I need help in the garden with my herbs, vegtables and harvesting them.

As astro got older, he help me going hunting when I found a ape wound. And hurt, they trusted him, than they would trusted him also. But there was somedays we came to late to save the apes. That they were badly hurt thanks to the humans, gun wounds.  And sometimes Stabbed to death, or throw rocks at them while they were tie up to tree. Poor things, I would think as I try to save them, if they died me and astro would Have a For burial them. Give them a small little burial out there, where we found them.

Tonight I was inside the cabin, outside was raining, there was thunder and lighting. Outside of the cabin, I hated when it storms here it felt like it was going hard. As I sip my tea that I had made I heard footsteps I quickly turn around there. Was my adopted son astro, " hello...not sleepy ?" I asked he shooked his head yes. I smiled at him, as he enter the room, I grab a book from my shelf than sat down near where. astro was at, I started to read to him. He love it when I read to him, I enjoy it to also as I did he started to close his eyes and fall sleep on the sleep that night.
