Chapter 7

I made my way out to the backyard to see every one around the fire pit. I smiled as Nate took notice to me standing on the patio. I felt his arms wrap around me causing me to lay against his chest.
"Nate?" I looked up at him, watching him intensely as he met my eyes.
"Yes beautiful?" He tucked a strand of lose hair behind my ear andtouched his forehead to mine.
"What.." I stumbled on my words, trying to figure out how to say it. I took a deep breath as Nate stepped my face with his thumb.
"What are we?" He cracked a smile.
"We will find out soon." He kissed my forehead and took me to the fire.I noticed that there was no where to sit, until Nate pulled me into his lap and locked his arms around me. I smiled and leaned back against him, I held onto one of his hands. This night seemed so wonderful, and it hasn't even hit nine yet.

*Nates POV*
I sat in the kitchen with Destery, pondering the thought of what Aurora said earlier tonight.
'What are we'
I let her sweet voice play through my head. I wanted to be with her, I knew I did, but I wanted this to be special.
"Destery, how do I ask out Aurora in a special way?" Destery looked at me with shock.
"uhh, I don't know man. We could come up with something." He smirked at me before calling Annabelle to the kitchen, a smile on her face.
"I have the perfect plan." A smile appeared across her face, and I swear I could see the wheels turning in her head. It frightened me a little to be honest.
"Okay so we need boxes, paper, markers, and lots of white roses." Suddenly, I knew this was going to work. We all got to work, searching for the things that Annabelle listed. I let out a sigh as I collected all the roses, boxes, and paper. We had a long ass night ahead of us.
-the next morning-
I held my breath as I opened the door to Auroras bedroom, finding Aurora laying in her bed. I felt a warm smile creep onto my face as I watched her chest rise and fall while she slept. I approached her, gently resting my hand on her cheek. I watched her stirr, letting her eyes flutter open.
"Nate?" she said as she yawned, rubbing her eye and sitting up.
"Yea," I started bending down to her eye level, "it's me sweetheart. I have a surprise for you, so you have to wake up." she looked into my eyes as if trying to figure out what I had planned. I chuckled as she stood up, hello kitty pajama bottoms falling back down to her ankles. I grinned at the sight of her stumbling out of bed and wrapping her arms around me. I blind folded her, not ruining the suprise. I led her down the stairs, feeling the need to hold my breath. When we made it to the bottom I stood inside my box and waited for her to start opening each box.
"Okay," Annabells voice pipped up, "start with the like green box. and make your way down in order." I held my breath as she made her way to each box. Then, it was my turn. I waited patiently, clutching the roses in my hands. she opened the box an I stood up. the boxes all had balloons with posters attached that made up a sentence that read "will you go out with.." and I held a sign that says "me" on it. She covered her mouth and looked up at me.
"Each of these roses will die, except for this one." I pointed to the metal one in the middle.
"Just like the way I feel about you will never die. So Aurora, will you be my girlfriend?" I felt her hold onto me as tight as she could.
"Yes, Nate I will." I leaned my head down, kissing her softly. She wrapped her arms around my neck and smiled.
I was so happy she was finally mine, and I had my friends to thank for that. Oh, and let's not forget YouTube.
