Science and sweethearts

                                                            Mingyu's POV
It was early in the morning and the alarm just woke me up. I jumped out of bed and went in to the shower. I love to shower in the morning because it makes me feel so clean and refreshed. I then got dressed and went to the kitchen.
-Hi mom have you eaten already?
I asked my mom who were sitting in the living room.
-Good morning honey, yes I have eaten.
It was always me and my mother who ate together since we always woke up earlier than the rest of my family.
-Okay that's good.
I said and smiled. It was then I realised how late I was, well not late to school yet but if I didn't hurry I definitely would be. I grabbed an apple said goodbye and ran to the train station.
                                                               
                      ~At school~
I was just in time. If I had arrived a minute later I would have been getting a lecture from the teacher about how incompetent I am for being late. Since I was the last person to sit down there were only one seat left. It was next to a familiar looking boy. He was sitting in the corner next to the window. The boys bleach-blonde hair was covering his face but I still knew who it was. He didn't notice me because he was fully occupied by drawing in his notebook. I leaned down and whispered in his ear.
-Hi Hansolie, I didn't know we had science together.
He looked up and gave me an annoyed look.
-Not here, In school we are enemies as long as you are friends with them.
He said and shot a furious look over to my group of friends. I just nodded in agreement even though it was breaking my heart. How am I supposed to be mad and mean towards Hansol when he is the cutest little boy ever.

I tried to listen to the teacher but science isn't really my favourite subject. I looked over at Hansol and he was still drawing, it looked like a human but I couldn't see clearly what it was. The teacher continued talking about the periodic table. Boring... I couldn't care less about metals and gasses. I then started scribbling in my book. I got an idea... A couple of minutes later I was done. I ripped the page out of the book and gave it to Hansol. Hansol looked at me with a smile all over his face, he looked so incredibly cute. The note was a little drawing of a cheesy pickup line. "Are you made of Copper and Tellurium? Because you're CuTe". I know it's cheesy but I just couldn't help myself. I felt warm on the inside but then I snapped back to reality and realised that I can't act too cute because I'm still in school... About a half hour later the bell finally rang. Thank god! A minute more and I would die of boredom. Hansol left without saying anything which probably was for the better since my friends were staring at me. I took my backpack and went over to them.

                                                          Hansol's POV
I just finished my last class and in 20 minutes Mingyu and I were supposed to meet at the parking lot at his work. We decided to meet there in case someone would see us hanging out. It was a bit hard to keep it a secret but if anyone knew we would both have to face consequences. Especially Mingyu, he would loose his social status because of me and I can't risk that so this is the way it has to be. I know it will be difficult but for him it's worth it. I parked the car on the parking lot and continued to wait. A couple of minutes later I saw Mingyu biking down the road. He biked to a street light, stepped of the bike and parked it. He then went over whilst waving to me. When he was outside of the car knocked on my window signalling me to roll it down. I followed his orders and rolled it down. He then winked at me and said.
-Hey babe, hope you didn't wait for long.
Babe? BABE?!?! My heart is beating really fast and I can't breathe. How am I supposed too act cool when he calls me Babe? Thankfully my mouth said something even though my brain is still in chock.
-No don't worry, just jump in and let's go for a drive.
He smiled and went over to the passengers seat. When he had placed himself comfortably in the seat and buckled up he started to look for something in his backpack. He then noticed my curiosity and smiled.
-I'm just looking for my phone so I can text my brother that I'm not coming home now. And by the way keep your eyes on the road Hansolie.
I smiled back and nodded. I didn't know that he had a brother, but I guess I don't know a lot about him. We started to small talk and I got to know so much more about him. He had only been friends with Jun and his gang for a couple of weeks. That's probably why I didn't recognise him. They met at a party and started to hang out after that.
-What are you thinking about?
Mingyu asked. I snapped back to reality, I looked at him and answered with a simple.
-You.
Mingyu started to blush, he was so cute. I could feel the butterflies in my stomach. Then I did it, I took his hand and intertwined our fingers. His hand was bigger than mine, warm and extremely soft. I concentrated on the road but I could still feel him staring at me. We arrived at the place I wanted to show him. I parked the car at the familiar parking place and told him that we were here. We were at an unknown lake, well not totally unknown but since it was a long drive here people avoided it. The lake is small and surrounded by big trees and green grass. Basically like the ones in fairytales. The look on Mingyu's face was priceless, he looked so stunned. I went to the trunk of my car and brought out a pick-nick basket. Then I went back to Mingyu who was still sitting in the car but with the door open like he was waiting for me to say something. And so I did.
-Are you coming?
I reached out my hand towards him and he grabbed it.

We walked to a place under a big chestnut tree and placed the pick-nick blanket down then we sat down.
-So Mingyu before you get disappointed I just want to say that I tried to cook but it didn't go as planned...
He giggled at me. His giggle is so cute that my heart started to beat really quickly. I could feel my cheeks turning red. I opened the basket and brought out some convenience store food.
-It's okay Hansolie, I'm happy with anything as long as you are here.
If he was going to be any cuter I should start to dig my grave now. My heart was raising even more and I could feel my cheeks become even redder. I smiled back to Mingyu who still was giggling.
-You know Hansol, I think this is going to be my favourite place too from now on.
What did he mean. I just looked at him with a confused look.
-What do you mean Mingyu?
He stopped smiling and gave me a serious look. Then he leaned in and said.
-Because it's the place where I first kissed you.
Before I had any chance to do anything he crashed his lips into mine.
