Chapter 10: Split

"They can't just revoke you reaping card can they." asked Alesha worried. Now she would be going with a new reaper. How many would she have to go through before she finally got to go home and see her dad. Her and Hunter had walked Gilgamesh to the high council because he let her do the reaping. "They can't force me to go with another reaper. I never went to the academy."

"That does not matter to the high council. You where my apprentice. Besides the academy isn't a thing. It never existed. Why would there be a academy." replied Gilgamesh.

"I don't know. I mean I went on my first reaping yesterday. So some people who call themselves the HIGH COUNCIL. And just be jerks. You know I really like it here. I don't care if I have to mop your floor or whatever but I am not going to a new reaper." said Alesha angrily. "Right Hunter."

"I could go for some extra knowledge. Mabey new mentors aren't so bad." Hunter replied. He felt bad for saying it but he has been with Gilgamesh for as long as he can remember.

"Well said Hunter. That will give you the day off of training." said Reaper Alucard as he walked in as if on cue. 

"Really no training for an entire day thanks Reaper Alucard." Hunter replied excitedly. He hasn't gotten a day off in forever.

"Just call me Alucard." Alucard said with a evil looking smile. "Let's go then shall we."

"Sure." Hunter said. He wasn't sad about leaving Gilgamesh. He was sad about leaving Alesha. She changed something inside of him. Be revealed more to her then to anyone else in the world. He revealed more to her then to Gilgamesh. This started when she started to rant about family and eternal life. "Wait before we go I need to talk to my old friend quickly." Hunter said as he pulled Alesha to the side hallway.

"What do you want?" She asked.

"Have you been feeling weird lately. Like since we were talking about you and your family." He asked her frantically.

"No why. What is this about Hunter." She said.

"I have been keeping something from you." he replied.

"Wha-what. Just spit it out already." she said nervously.

"I am Gilgamesh's son."he said.
