Chapter 16: The Family Manor

"So this is where I am from huh." Alesha asked. Her and Hunter had just made the track to the old family manor. "It is smaller then I imagined."

"Yeah well Gilgamesh didn't really need a lot of room to move around in though. He was always keeping an eye on us probably. So he didn't ever let us leave the house practically." Hunter said. He was different around her now. More open and let go. Not as guarded as when she first met him. She remembers the first thing he had said to her to make her tougher. "If you want to leave. You will have to kill me." he said. She knew then that they were meant to do great things together. She just didn't think that it would be as siblings. "Yeah but I don't remember any of that."

"Yeah and that is the shame of it all. I remember almost everything about you when you were just 2 years old." Hunter said.

"No you don't you where the same age as me then." she said back. She knew he was just joking with her but it was like he actually knew what he was talking about.

"I can prove it." Hunter replied.

"Go ahead and prove it then." she said back. She wanted to know if he really did remember now.

"Okay. When you were 1 year old. You fell out of that tree." he said as he pointed to the tree. " lucky Gilgamesh was outside when you fell so you weren't on the ground for long. He said you would have a scar on your right shoulder."

She pulled up her right shirt sleeve to see if there was a scar there and their was. "I always told my friends it was a birthmark." She replied. She was shocked to see that he was right about the scar. So now she knew that he did remember. "What did Gilgamesh do when you found out?"

"Well first he spent a couple of minutes yelling at me for being outside. Since we weren't supposed to be outside. Then he yelled at me for not running to grab the healing herbs from the cellar. Then he yelled at himself for telling me about the cellar. Then he apologized to both of us then went to get the herbs himself and told me to stay with you." Hunter told Alesha. She was enjoying this day off of training with her brother. She always felt like there was more to being in family. Like she had a brother. But now it was a reality. "Anyway. Long story short. We both got grounded for a month for being outside."

"Huh, don't remember that. That is really funny though that you got yelled at a bunch we were younger." Alesha said.

They spent the rest of the day together fight/training together so that Alesha could get some proper training.
