Dani's POV

When I reached jonathans house, I moved my bike towards the side and knocked on the door. It opened revealing steve, who had a shocked expression on his face. I rolled my eyes and pushed by him seeing a group of max and a bunch of boys around her age but no Jonathan.

"Um hey guys, where's Jonathan? He invited me over tonight, wanted me to help with something." Steve came up behind me and answered instead of one of the kids. They just went back to whispering in their group.

"What did Jonathan tell you exactly?"

"Just that he needed help with something ans that he explain everything when I got here." He tugged my arm roughly into the other room before talking.

"Look Dani, you really shouldn't be here."

"Oh what? Now that I know you have a girlfriend, you don't wanna be around me anymore?" He sighed deeply before looking me in the eye.

"Me and Nancy broke up. She heard what we did in the bathroom and broke up with me."

"Oh, well I'm sorry you guys broke up." Not knowing what else to say, i gave him a tight liped smile.

"Its alright. And, I really wanna apologize for calling you a slut today too, that wasnt cool of me."

"Its okay, I kinda am one sometimes.." He looked down at me with pity before hugging me tightly, resting his chin on my head as I nuzzled into him. I smiled realizing how much I had missed the smell of his cologne. He looked down at me and softly kissed my lips, still holding me. We were broken up by a voice screaming.

"No that won't work! We need to figure out something that would actually stop it without hurting will!"

Steve and I looked at each other, confused, before entering the living room only to find the kids still huddled together, except for one. The boy I had yet to know the name of had dark brown hair, brown eyes, pale, and wore and stripped sweater.

"Hey, you little shits, I promised to keep you safe so whatever shit you got planned, cancel it. We're on the bench, so we-we just  gotta sit back and let the team run their play" the basket ball terms clearly confused the kids but they understood the gist, causing them to groan and the one standing to sit back down.

I was about to ask what was going on when we all heard rock music playing, no, blasting and a pair of headlights shined through the window.

"Shit." Max and I had said at the same time as the kids started ducking under the window by the couch.

"Ill get him." Steve said reluctantly before heading out the door. I followed close behind him, closing the door behind me. I turned around to see billy exiting the car.

"Am I dreaming or is that you Harrington?"

"Yeah its me, dont cream your pants." He slowly started walking forward with his hands on his hips and a dishtowel laid across his shoulder. I followed suit, stepping into sight only to have billy smirk at me.

"Why dont you just go, you have no reason to be here."

"Well I'm looking for my step sisters, the younger ones small, redhead, bit of a b itch. And looks like you found the whore." He spoke his last few words looking at me before dropping his eyes down and winking at me with a lit cigarette hanging from his mouth.

"Hey, she not a whore. The other one isnt here, so you can go now." I looked down at my feet, feeling a heavy pressure on my chest.

"If shes not a whore then how come not even an hour ago my dick was in her, fucking the daylights out of her, and she let me cum in her sweet pussy, hmm?" His smirk grew larger as I felt tears prick at my eyes only to have the pressure on my chest grow larger. Steve turned to me, looking shocked.

"Is that true?" I nodded, not having the courage to speak.

"Oh yeah Harrington, its true. And if max isnt her, then who's that?" He got really close to his face and pointed to the window causing me and Steve to turn around to discover the kids quickly jumping down, ducking under the window as they had been before.

"Ah shit, okay look-" he fell to the ground after being pushed hard by billy.

"I told you to plant your feet" billy said before kicking Steve, making me instinctively run towards him and make sure he was alright but he spoke beofre I could get a word in.

"Make sure he doesnt hurt the kids."

I through the now open door and witnessed something I couldnt even fathom. Billy was holding up Lucas by his colar and screaming in his face.

"Billy stop let him go! He's just a kid!"

I screamed at him before seeing Steve walk back into the room and punch billy across the face, causing him to drop Lucas which led me to grabbing him and pulling the other kids as well, behind me. Billy and Steve soon broke out into a full blown fight.

It looked like Steve was gonna win until billy smashed a plate across Steve's head, causing him to tumbling unexpectedly, resulting in billy pushing him into the room we were in and beating him senseless. He straddles Steve's waist and began punching him, only making me scared and mute out all the screams the kids were making. I was in pure shock while max grabbed a syringe that layed on a shelf only to stab it into billy's neck. He got up off of Steve, pulled out the syringe and stumbled back a bit before falling down.

"What the hell is this?" He asked, a grey and tired, fighting to keep his eyes open. Max had grabbed a bat with nails in it making my eyes shoot out wide.

"From now on you leave me and my friends alone! Got it?" He didn't answer so she swung the bat inbetween his legs making him look down, groggy.

"Say you understand, SAY IT!" She said enraged, ready to swing again.

"I understand." He spoke quietly before closing his eyes and falling asleep.

She handed the bat to one of the boys beofe grabbing billy's keys out of his pocket.

"Hey where do you think your going?" I asked, stepping forward as the boys began lifting up a passed out Steve.

"To help our friends. You stay here and watch him so he doesn't do anything when he wakes up." Before I could object they were out the door and I was left with paranoid thoughts, and a passed out, angered billy.

"This is just great."
