Recap of Chapter 21

Diamond loses her virginity to Mike. Afterwards, they go to the Afterglo, senior celebration. After they're done at the park, Diamond asks to stay at Mike's house and he agrees. Once arriving, they enter to see Dustin there waiting. He starts harassing Diamond saying Mike will never get any that he was working on her for months but she never gave it up. Angry she replies that he already got it because she trusts him. After the confrontation, Diamond and Mike go skinny dipping and after they fall asleep in each other's arms.

Chapter 22

Mike's pov

Waking up with the most beautiful girl in the world is a great feeling. Knowing that she's mine and no one else can have her is awesome. I could've had this months ago but I chose to be stupid. I can't wait to live my life with her.

Diamond's pov.

I wake up to someone holding me. I forgot that I was at Mike's house in his bed with him.

"Good morning gorgeous!" I could get used to waking up to this. "Do you want any breakfast?"

"One thing you have to learn is that I barely eat breakfast and it's almost two in the afternoon anyway."

"It's never to late for breakfast. So what are your plans for today?"

"I'm meeting up with Bre today. I barely talked to her at prom and Afterglo last night. I'm actually gonna get dressed cause she's on her way to get me."

I continue laying in his bed for a couple more minutes before I leave. After some more snuggling I get dressed and go downstairs to wait for Bre.

"I can't believe that you're my girlfriend."

"Is that a good or bad thing?"

"Oh that's a really good thing." He says then kisses my neck.

Bre arrives and I say bye to my boyfriend, I still can't believe that Mike is my boyfriend. I can't wait to tell her everything that happened last night.

"So, you showed up late to the Afterglo so what happened and don't tell me you were changing." I knew she was going to ask.

"Well it finally happened."

"No way. Are you messing with me?"

"Nope. I know we were only dating for a day but it just felt right with him."

"Girl I'm so happy for you."

"Thanks. So you and Eli, anything happen there?"

"Well for us it was after Afterglo."

"How did we get so lucky to have amazing boyfriends?"

*2 days later at school, still Diamond's pov*

I walk into school holding my new boyfriend's hand. Of course people were whispering and looking. The day me and Dustin broke up and me and Mike started dating Facebook was like gossip central. Everyone wanted to know why I brother hopped.

"Wow what a whore."

"A bet she's screwing both brothers at the same time."

"So does this mean Dustin is available?"

I knew the whole day I was gonna be hearing all types of whispers and rumors.

"Damn girl I didn't know you were going to be the new star at school." Bre says when she walks up to me. "Maybe people need to keep their moses out of everyone's business." She made sure she said that loud enough for people to hear.

"Well neither did I. I mean I knew I would have some kind of trouble but not like this."

I continued to keep my head up high while walking hand in hand with my Mike.

"Don't worry they're just jealous that you got me." Mike says trying to cheer me up.

"I don't know how she got any of those brothers. They're hot and she's a hot mess. Anyway Dustin did a good job by dumping her." That sends me over the edge. That sentence came from Brittany, the chick that Dustin cheated on me with.

"You know what, I'm going to put an end to all of these rumors." I say to Bre and Mike. "Can I have everyone's attention? So I know everyone thinks that I'm the new school slut but that job still belongs to you Brittany. Okay I'm going to explain to everyone what happened. The day before prom, I went to Dustin's house to give him his tie for prom and guess what I found? A home wrecker. That's right I found him cheating on me with Brittany. But that was the best thing that has ever happened to me cause that event drove Mike to tell me that he liked me as much as I liked him. So that's what happened. I broke up with Dustin because he's a cheating asshole. And there he is now everyone lets give him a round of applause."

That jerkoff never looked so pissed off before. That should teach him to never mess with me again.

"So now if you don't mind I'm going to enjoy these last three weeks of school with my only boyfriend, Mike." I finish my speech and walk down the hallway with Mike at my side.

"I am the most blessed guy to have such a kickass girlfriend like you."

"I'm just glad you finally realized that I was the one."
