It was Sunday, and my parents and I were off to church. When I got out I saw Mathew walking in to the youth building.
Oh no.. I thought to myself as I entered the youth building as well.
"Rachel!" My best friend, August, yelled from across the youth building to me.
"Hey August!" I yelled back walking over to the bean bags that were in the back of the room. I could feel Mathew watching me walking over to August.
In case you haven't figured out, August is my best friend. And when I say best friend, I mean the bestest person you could ever have in your life!
"There's a new guy." August whispered to me when I sat down.
"I know." I say, "He's my new neighbor." I add on.
"No way." August says. I nod. "No way!" August says louder.
"Be quiet he could hear you." I scold August.
"Dude! Have you seen that boy, he's hot!" August says. I know what you're thinking, he is not gay. He is as straight as a pole. But still, I give August a look. "What? I'm not blind! Anyone could say he's hot."
I chuckled at his comment and then the youth minister started the lesson.
