After the youth service was over, August and I walked over to the Church's playground and watched the little kids play tag or hide and seek. Matthew came over and stood next to me.
"Hey Rachel." He says watching the playground.
"Hi." I say not really caring. I see August flash me a quick look with a smirk on his face, so I nudged his elbow.
"Rachel!" One of the preschoolers calls to me. "Come swing with me!" Hanna calls out to me. I walk over and sit on the swing next to her. I see August and Matthew talking which makes me happy.
After ten minutes of swinging my legs start to get tired. There was also a weight on my chest. A weight that was all too familiar. Soon enough I start to wheeze. I try to keep my wheezing quiet as I go over to my bag and take out my inhaler.
"You ok?" August asks me. I nod.
"I'm going to go home now. See ya." I say to August as I wave goodbye. I hop into my parents car and soon we drive home.
I go upstairs to my room and sit on my bed. I soon get a text from August.
A: Heyy
R: Hi
A: Did you have an asthma attack??
R: A minor one, not to bad though
A: Good. Matthew got really worried
R: :P
A: He did
R: Yeah right 😂
A: Rachel
A: I think he likes you
R: He doesn't
A: Well if he doesn't
A: THEN YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE HE DOES
R: I'll see you at school August 😂
A: Byeee
I turned off my phone and go downstairs for lunch.
