I didn't know what to do. I flew out the window and landed right next to Alex on the street. Her blood covered my hands, not a spot without blood. I was panicking and flew her straight into the DEO. I wasn't waiting for the room to be prepared, so I just layed her on the bed. She began coughing up blood and choking.
"Alex! Please... you're gonna be ok.." Right then, a team of doctors came in the room and began operating.
"We are going to have to remove the bullet," One doctor said ,"Be careful, it's filled with poison... it it hits any kind of organ... she will die." I then put my palm on my forehead and sobbed. As I walked into the hallway, I saw Lena run up to me. I pushed past her and kept walking. Sami was then in front of me... I couldn't push past her. I knelt down and looked her in the eyes.
"Sami, I know that you're overwhelmed... so am I. But, I need some time alone... ok?" Sami nodded back with tears in her eyes as I flew out the door. I flew high into the sky, where I knew for sure that no one could hear me and cried. I screamed with rage and sadness. At that time, I had voices in my head.
"Kara..." The sound rang in my head as it started speaking to me again, "Kara, you are made of steel.... be stronger than this." I remembered when Alex told me that it was okay to be sad... to be broken. But someone, or something was telling me to be okay. So I screamed in stress and rage. What was the point of my life anymore? I was strong and powerful. But now I felt so weak. I closed my eyes and fell out of the sky. I didn't move or flinch. I just let myself fall deeper and deeper into darkness.
