Lucas stopped the car with a small smile on his face from the jam session you two just ended. Of course, these moments with your best friend was becoming rare as he became more busy with his job, which is why you invited him to the beach in the first place.

The beach was both of you guys' favorite place to be, since it was the perfect place to relax and maybe write a song, or just mess around. Especially in the evening, when there's a beautiful sight of the sun lowering for the moon to later come up, which was when most people have left the beach that is usually crowded in mornings.

You beamed and jumped out of the car and took you shorts and shirt off, leaving it on the ground to reveal the mustard yellow bikini that fit you skin complexion. Lucas watched in the car with a slight blush forming on his face. Yes, he had a small interest in you- that wasn't exactly "small."

His crush on you started out fairly small, but as years went by, they gave him more reasons to love you. And out of all those years, this was the first one he saw you in something this revealing, causing some teenage hormones to act up.

You caught him staring after closing your eyes to take in some of the scene of the serene beach and the feeling of soft winds blowing against your face, causing your hair to blow different directions. You smiled at him, not noticing the small redness on his blank face.

"Come one you big dummy!" You called for him before running down close to shore, causing another scene to take Lucas out of focus from mesmerization. He shook out of it and took of the tank top he was wearing and ran over to you.

You were too busy looking at the sun you didn't notice the giant child coming behind you to pick upon your slightly tall figure and carry you over his shoulder while giggling. He then started running around, you screaming for him to put you down while laughing and hitting his back.

"Oh God you're and idiot!" You chuckled after he put you down, you trying to regain your steadiness but accidentally rally on your butt. "I'm you're idiot, right?" Lucas asked, sitting next to you. "Hm. I guess." You answered, ruffling his hair.

You two just sat there, once again watching the sun go down as the Sky's color swirled with pinks, purples, oranges, and blues, as well as being sprinkled with silhouettes of seagulls flying by. Lucas was awkwardly shifting his position every minute or so until he finally landed his hand on yours, disrupting your calm expression from watching the sun to set your eyes on the mussy haired boy.

"Your gonna call me another name, aren't you?" He asked, his cheeks again lightly dusting with pink as he moved his hand away. "Yep, Baby boy." You answered, lightly brushing your lips against his forehead for a soft kiss before holding his hand and laying your head on his shoulder.

Lucas smiled, glee exploding through him before laying his head on top of yours, squeezing your hand. Maybe the feeling was mutual.
