'God I did it’ thought Evan as he lay on the grass below a tree in his park ranger uniform ‘maybe someone will notice that I’m gone and they’ll look for me’ Evan felt tears welled up in his eyes knowing no one will look for him but he still has some hope
It's been about an hour since Evan jumped and no one has looked for him, he knew no one cared. He slowly got up gripping his left arm when a sharp pain went up his arm
‘Damn! I think I broke it. ’ Evan thought as he slowly walked in the direcon where the ranger station was
“Hey! “ the shout startled Evan making his head snap to the right were the voice was and seeing a raven haired teen running to him
“Are you ok? “ asked the teen that stopped in front of Evan “Uh, yeah” muttered Evan nearly slapping himself knowing he did not look “OK” his ranger uniform stained with dirt and grass stains, his left arm bruised and his eyes red from crying. The shorter of the two rolled his green eyes “Yeah, sure you are” he said going to Evans right, putting Evans right arm over his shoulder and putting his own arm around Evans waist
“By the way my name's Harry” Harry said
“My name's Evan ”
“Well nice to meet you Evan, ” huffed Harry as he carried most of Evans wight “Don't think I've ever meet anyone like this before. “ He finished with a snort making Evan crack a smile “Don't think I've ever meet anyone like this either”
They finally made it to the rangers station and that's when they got to Evans phone, sat down and called an ambulance
“BOY!” A shout startled both Harry and Evan
“That's my Uncle” Harry sighs as he stands up from the chair “I better get going before Uncle pops something” that made Evan snort
Harry offered Evan his hand “It was nice meeting you Evan” making Evan smile as he gently grabs Harry’s hand and shaking it “It was nice meeting you too Harry”
Harry starts to walk to the door when Evan speaks up “Will we ever meet again?” Asked Evans, Harry turns to him and smiles “I'd like to think so” and with that he left.
