Harry walked to Hagrid's hut on the Hogwarts grounds excited about what he was going to ask him, knocking on the huts door smiling when his hears Hagrid walking to the door. Hagrid opened the door pushing away Fang when the dog tried to jump to on Harry
“Down Fang! Said down!” Hagrid yelled at the dog smiling when he sees its harry at his door
“Well I'll be, if it ain't little Harry!” said Hagrid as he pulled Harry in to a hug gently
“Only little to you Hagrid” Harry muffled into Hagrid's chest making Hagrid laugh loudly pulling Harry from his hug and ushered him inside
“Well, come on in Harry”
Harry steps into the familiar hut, walking to the couch and sitting down, Harry sees Hagrid making tea
“So what has you visiting me this evening Harry?” Hagrid asked handing Harry his tea, Harry takes a sip before talking
“I have an important question to ask you”
“Well ask away” Hagrid says as he sits across from Harry smiling, making Harry grin
“I want you to be my best man at my wedding”
That makes Hagrid freeze and his eyes widen making Harry's grin bigger and he takes another sip of his tea
“Are ya sure Harry?” Hagrid whispers “Don’t ya want Ron as ya best man?”
“Well Ron is my best friend but I really wanted my father figure at my wedding” Harry said making Hagrid gasp
“Ya don't mean that”
“Of course I do!” Harry said putting his tea cup on the table before continuing “You showed me the wizarding world, you came to all of my quidditch matches and you cared about me” Harrys worlds making Hagrid shed some tears, Harry’s grin turned into a grateful smile
“Please say yes Hagrid”
Hagrid stands and pulls harry into another hug and tightening only a little bit and Hagrid sobs a wet yes into Harry’s hair making Harry’s eyes tear up as well.
