He ran his hand through his wet hair and I smiled. "What?" he asked. "I love your messy hair!" I said. He hit me playfully with his towel and I laughed softly.
An hour later we walked around in the city hand in hand. "I love this!" said Tommy. "Same here!" I replied. "I can't thank you enough for everything you've done to me!" he said. "It warms my heart!" I replied.

We returned back to the house and left our things that we had bought. Then we went to café and sat down on the table.
A girl with red hair came up to us to take orders. "Lilo, would you like to do something for me?" I asked. "Yes!" she said. I told her my idea and she smiled happily. "He will love it!" said Lilo happily.

She ran back in and came out with the drinks. I heard her talking Hawaiian with her mom and she smiled too. This would be a day to remember.
Suddenly an orchestra began to play and colorful lights was lit everywhere. I went down on my knee and opened a box with a diamond ring.
"Tommy Joe Ratliff, I love you over all my heart and I would take a bullet for you. You make me laugh and smile.
I can't imagine a life without you, because it would be like a life without air. You mean everything to me. I'll love you until death do us apart.
I think it's time to take our relationship one step further, will you marry me?" I asked. "Yes, yes!" said Tommy and tears ran down his cheeks. I put the ring on his finger and he smiled.
Everyone clapped their hands and cheered. Lilo gave us a flower necklace and I hung it around his neck.
"Thank you for this!" said Tommy. "You're welcome!" I replied. He kissed me and I kissed him back.
