After sitting with Jack for awhile, he drove me to my doctor, Dr.Oswald. I don't know how he managed to get me a same day appointment, but I didn't ask any questions.

The drive there was peaceful, we listened to the radio  and I had a chance to text Kyle about the possibility of me carrying his child.

"Damn, detka you've really been into that phone." He said while glancing over and then back at the road. "

"Yeah, I was telling Karmen about me being pregnant." I lied.

"I thought she moved ? How is she?" He asked.

"She moved back, she and Kody are doing really well, she started a new job with some big company down town."

"That's really good to hear, I'm glad she's off the streets too. Kody didn't need his mother in that kind of lifestyle anyways."

"Well that used to be my lifestyle." I said getting offended.

"You're right. Used to be."

"And if I still needed it to be, it would be. Not everyone can have their parents send them off to college, you know? Some of us have to do whatever is necessary to take care of ourselves." I said rolling my eyes.

"Why are you getting so riled up over something so small?" He argued.

"Because you're being insensitive as if you're too good to be in a low place like that. Like that that's some horrible thing."

"Did I say it was?" His hands tightened against the wheel. "You honestly don't know shit about the lifestyle I used to live.

"No, but how you said it and I'm not talking about your tired ass lifestyle right now."

"Tired?" I can put a bullet in anyone I feel like, just because with no jail time. I've seen men kill entire families. Kids, parents, grandparents, all of that so don't ever tell me or pretend like I haven't been in a low spot." He barked.

I sat quiet and propped my feet up on his dashboard while crossing my arms like a child.

"And get your tired ass feet off my dashboard."

The car ride grew silent.

More time passed and we finally made it to the doctor's office.

"You know what, since you want to be Jack the Jackass how about you stay in the car." I said before unbuckling my seat belt and breaking the long car ride of silence.

"Alright, izvini detka." (I'm sorry baby.)

"You make me sick, you know that?" I said before taking a deep breath.

"And you're a pain in my ass, I've spoiled you too fucking much."

We finally went inside and spoke to a dark haired woman at the front desk. She didn't appear to be a day over 50, but she seemed to have some kind of stick up her ass.

"Hi, I'm here for my prenatal appointment." I said with a smile.

"You look a little too young to be here for a prenatal appointment is this your father?"

"Loo—." I was cutoff by Jack's response.

"Mind your fucking business and do your fucking job, her last name is Moore."

The woman seemed to be surprised but began typing on the desktop keyboard before instructing me to sign in.

We sat down next to the doors leading to the patient rooms.

"Thanks for having my back." I said while taking Jack's hand.

"Always." He assures before kissing my hand that was intertwined in his.
