Untitled Part 5

I'll miss the glow of morning light

waking me up to another day,

another life.

I think I'll miss the world

for what it used to be

but now I'm staring at the clock

waiting for the right time to come.

I'll miss the smiles I used to get

I'll miss those people too

The ones who ever really cared

about the things I've done.

But time's slipping away,

The clouds are turning grey.

Oceans part,

making way for me

as I tread upon

a thin white line

that leads to

the light at the end of the tunnel

that shall swallow me,

engulf me

into the silver chimes

of afterlife.

Authors' Note- These poems have been inspired by my everyday problems and life around me.

Inspired by @_Stars_Ocean_Music_ who has legendary poems and stories. She's a person who I've looked upon at (as an equal and as a literary icon).

To all my friends, wherever they are, thank you for keeping me company when I was lost somewhere between depressed.
