"Everyone is dismissed except for Boruto and Hope." Dad said sternly.

"Yes Lord Seventh" We answered. However, Hope just stood awkwardly, was she not told how to respond? As soon as everyone left Old man clear his throat and confessed,

"There is a reason she is here, outside of her wanting to be a ninja." He admitted, taking a big breath he spoke, "Hope is family, from my side." My jaw dropped, I looked back and forth, between Dad and Hope.

"H-how?" I marveled. They are all dead...

"Please explain." Old man cautioned to Hope.

"Naruto-san's, (They both cringed at that name slightly.) father had a long-term girlfriend before his wife gave birth to him."

"Yes but, nothing happened from that relationship." I said, they both shook their heads no.

"No, They had a child. A little boy without the fourth's knowledge or, anyone for that matter." She did a short pause letting it sink in, "Then the boy, Fuzen was his name, got married to a merchant."

"Wait, you said Fuzen was his name." I inquired, still trying to wrap my head around this. Hope looked at the ground and her eyes turned glossy.

"He passed away from an accident and her mother Rina, die from child birth." Dad said sorrowfully, "She was living with nomads until she took a genetic test and came here."

"So I had an Uncle?"

"Yes, and I had a brother." Old man took a deep breath before continuing, "I have decided Hope will be living with us until I can find her a house nearby."

"I-I will?" Hope asked.

"I decided it will best that way," Dad grunted, "It will give you a chance to meet your family." She nodded yes.

"Well nice to meet you Hope!" I said extending my hand to her, she was a bit taken aback but smiled and shook my hand.

"Nice to meet you Boruto." Hope replied calmly.

"It is good to see you get along, Boruto you are dismissed I need to talk with Hope." I was about to say something but he said, "Alone please." So, I nodded my head and left.

"I am staying with you. Why?" I demand.

"If it is as drastic as you tell it to be, this is of utmost importance." Naruto-kun replied, "This also means I get to spend time with my sensei."

"Yes I am happy to spend time with you but, I don't want to keep this act of me being family."

"I don't think you'll ever slip up, you're too good for that." He mumbled, "Plus it will only be for a few months otherwise you will just live near us."

"Very well; I am however happy to meet your wife and other child. Boruto looks just like you."

"Yes he does." Naruto-Kun said smiling, "If only you were here to see me grow. Then you'll see how close he looks like me."

"If I was you wouldn't be a war hero." I smiled

"Yes, you would have stopped the war right away." He smiled kindly to me, "You're probably the strongest person alive."
