I woke up to the sun feeling like daggers in my eyes. Fuck mornings. I lazily sit up as my eyes ad gust to the sunlight. My almost empty closet is partly open, Naruto-kun's jacket is one of the only things inside. With a groan I push myself up and off the twin-sized bed. Everything in this room was neutral colors. I rolled my head to face clock on the wall, six-thirty. Shit. I sprinted to the bathroom and brushed my teeth then sprinting back I put on all of my mission wear. Running out the door, I see Boruto leaping out of his room and to the stairs. Running past him quickly, I stick my tongue out toward him.
"You little-" Boruto huffs out. He sticks his head up a takes a deep breath as we reach the bottom of the staircase. Boruto then continues, "Ah whatever! We gotta go, Hope!"
"Wait a second you two." Boruto and I turn to see Hima-chan holding two brown lunch bags.
"Thank you so much Hima-chan!" I voice as I grab the bag with my name and rub her head with my other hand.
"See ya later Sis!" Boruto says with a bright smile as he too grabs his bagged lunch. With that done we legged it to the mission center. The weather was amazing today, a warm breeze blew in my blonde hair. I love the feeling of running, it makes me feel free. Even if I have not fully escaped.
"There you two are!" Sarada shouts across the street to us. "I see Hope has the same clock work that Boruto has." I covered my lips and giggle lightly at her distress.
"Hey! I'm just fashionably late."
"But, you don't have a sense of fashion at all." Mitsuki counters Boruto's incorrect remark.
Boruto throws up his fists and yells, "Oi! You wanna go?!" [Writer's note: I tried may times, I still can't get this sentence to work T-T But, it needs to be there.]
Mitsuki let his head roll to the side, "I guess we should go to the center huh."
"That not what I mean! Ugh let's just go, we're going to have our first mission together!"
