Fukuzawa Yukichi X Reader : Awkward Christmas

I was laying on my bed with my phone on, searching for some stuffs to buy. I heard a knock on the door "Come in." is all I said to the other side of the door, the door went open and a head went in "Dear? Would you mind helping me a bit?" Yukichi said it with a nervous voice, I can tell what is happening. I went down stairs with Yukichi and saw burnt food. 

"I'll clean it.... just leave it to me." I sighed and gave him a sweet smile, "Thanks (Y/n), I appreciate your help." I quickly cleaned, washed, wiped and placed it back where the things were involved with the burning food. I walked towards the couch where Yukichi is seating and sat next to him "Are you tired?" Yukichi asked me "No...." I said and he stared at me attentively. "Wha-". "Why are you so cold?" he asked me and I looked at him weirdly "I'm not cold..." "No... I mean like why are you so quiet?" he asked me and lean near me, I moved back a little, opening the gap between us, "Hmm.... No I don't think so..." Yukichi went back to what his was doing and I quickly stood up and ran up the stairs.

After a moment...

"(Y/n)-chan!" I heard Yukichi shouting my name, I went downstairs "Ye-" I saw all the Armed Detective Agency members sitting on a sofa in the living room, "Merry Christmas (Y/n)-chan!" Dazai shouted and raised his hands up in joy, 'What the heck is happening' I thought to myself "Don't mind him (Y/n)-chan." Ranpo said and I awkwardly walked into the kitchen and said, "I'll make some hot chocolate for you guys." I took out milk and chocolates from the fridge and made it rightaway. "Here have some hot chocolate. Outside must be very cold." I said and they carefully took the mugs from the tray. "Thanks!"they said and took a sip from the mug.

They were chatting about their past missions and laughed and joked about it. I sat beside Yukichi awkwardly and didn't know what to talk about, "(Y/n)-chan? Are you okay? You look like you are dead in the inside..." Dazai said and everyone looks at me worriedly. I sat up straight "No...No... I'm fine." I said awkwardly. Everyone kept on staring at me and Yukichi coughed to get everyone's attention. Everyone decided to continue chatting and forget what had happened. I quickly went upstairs to my room and drew something in my sketch book to make myself comfortable and forget what happened.

While drawing......

I heard a knock on the door, "Come in." and the door went open and shut. I looked at the door of the entrance of my room to see who it was,  'Yukichi'. " Are you okay dear?" he asked and I nodded, he walks towards me and saw my drawings "Nice drawing you had there." he said and sat on a chair near my bed and kept staring at me. "Yukichi....are they gone?" I asked and he nodded. 

Silence......

I coughed to break the silence, it was awkward for me and Yukichi because this never happened between us before. "Y-Yukichi?" I called "Yes dear?" he answered. "I want to sleep now....." I said and instantly regret. I felt stupid after the sentence because it sounded like I wanted him to leave. "O-okay...". While I was laying on the bed, Yukichi laid behind me, I was shocked and don't know what to do or say. "Y-Yuki-" "Shh......" Yukichi hugged from behind, I blushed and was happy that I wasn't facing him. I smiled and went to sleep, hoping this would never end.

Sorry for not updating nowadays... We were super busy! Please forgive us even though the Christmas end....
