Hold My Hand-A Slexie Memorial Story

Chapter 2

3rd perosn's POV

Meredith Grey got there as fast as she could, after she got a 911 page. She seemed to be running to the lobby. She looked at the receptionist, confused. She knew that she had no idea of why she was paged.

Then, she looked at the blonde woman.

"She was the one that insisted to page you.", the receptionist explained.

Dr, Grey, then stared at the woman, trying to know who she was, trying to find any conctions with her. Because that girl reminded her of something, something... she coudn't start describing. 

The blonde woman was shaking. It was a very akward moment. Then, the woman spoke:

"App... pparently you rr-- renamed the hospital."

Meredith's face wanted to fall off. Tears came out of her eyes like a waterfall, but she didn't inmutated. Now her face was shaking too.

"Is... is it you?"

The woman nodded.

"Lexie?", Mer whispered. It's like she wanted to scream, like she just wanted to hug her, and kiss her, and cry in her arms, but she just seemed... untouchable. In that moment, the receptionist brought them both back to reality."

"She was looking for a Dr.Sloan?"

Meredith's face wasn't falling off anyomore. It was freezing. How was she gonna tell her sister, that everybody thought was dead, that the love of her life was? 

It was a horrible feeling. Now, she knew exactly the way Penny Blake felt when she told her Derek was dead too. But the, she rethought about it: she was probably in Neuro; so how was she gonna tell her that her brother in law and mentor was dead too?"

"Mark... Mark isn't here right now."

"He's dead, isn't he?", the woman apparently called Lexie asked, crying as hard as a person would possibly be able to. Harder than a woman that lost her sister. Harder than a wife that lost her husband. 

"Yes, Lexie. He's dead."
