3..2.. Hello Darling (Crowley x Reader)

You pushed your way past the large groups of people as you attempted to reach the balcony. You were starting to regret letting your friend, Charlie, convince you to come to a New Years party. You hated parties and New Year's were always worse, so many drunk people trying to find someone to kiss and there were more people then you had expected.

Your plan had been to stick with Charlie for the night but barely ten minutes in you had lost her in the crowd. You had hidden in the corner for the rest of the party but as it got nearer and nearer to midnight people were starting to gather around again in a final attempt to find someone.

It had got extremely hot because of the number of people inside and you could barely breathe and needed to get out quick. You fumbled with the handle of the door before finally managing to push it open.

You took a deep breath as the cold winter air hit your face causing your eyes to water. You walked over to the railing and leaned on it, watching as fireworks started to explode in the sky. The sky flashed red as sparks flew from the fireworks followed by a loud bang. You had always loved fireworks ever since you were young and this year you had been hoping to show them to your boyfriend, Crowley. You were meant to be spending New Years together but he had got stuck with work in hell and couldn't come home.

You continued to watch the fireworks in amazement as everyone else inside barely even noticed that there was any. You could hear everyone inside start the countdown. 10 seconds till midnight.

You looked down on the hills below that seemed so much more peaceful compared to the party behind you.

"Happy New Year Crowley." You whispered.

Another round of fireworks went off turning the sky golden.

You turned around to look inside in an attempt to spot Charlie in the crowd.

There was no sign of her as everyone that had been at the party had now crowded into the one room.

Everyone seemed to have found someone, except for you.

You turned back to face the fireworks again waiting for shouting and screaming that would come from inside once it hit New Years.

"Hello, Darling."

Before you even had a chance to respond someone grabbed your waist and spun you around and crashed their lips into yours. You tried to lean back out of the kiss before you got the taste of Crowley's favorite whiskey off their lips. Crowley had made it.

You melted into the kiss as he wrapped his arms around your waist. You giggled as put your hands on his face and you could feel him smile into the kiss.

He pulled back and smiled as he looked at you. You could feel your cheeks turn red under his gaze and you couldn't help as a huge smile spread across your face.

"You made it."

"Of course I did, happy New Year y/n." Crowley laughed as he pulled you into a hug and kissed the top of your head.
