Chapter Eleven:

     Mini Proposal

"Come on, beansprout, spill out the beans." Chitoge said and leaned closer to Raku.

"Ehh... wait... what?!" Raku startled and was struggling to break free.

"What did you want to say to me last night?" Chitoge asked, not letting Raku go.

"--That was nothing!! Really!!" Raku said and sweats began to fall from his forehead.

"I'll let you off the hook, for today." then Chitoge left, without saying another word.

** flashback **

"I love you, Chitoge. Please marry me." Raku mumbled.

Chitoge turned around with a poker face. "What did you say, Raku?"

"Huh?! I-- ahh... did you hear that?" Raku asked her.

"I didn't. That's why I'm asking you."

"Uh... that was nothing, really. I was just talking to myself."

"But I heard my name."

"Maybe it's just your imagination."

Chitoge pinched his cheeks and then gave him a death glare "Don't lie to me."

"I'll tell you tomorrow!!"

"Geez!"

** end of flashback **
