After that hellish night they finally let us rest. I'm pretty sure it hadn't even been 2 hours yet when I was woken up by a cold clammy hand hand clamp tightly over my mouth. I attempted to cry out and smack the person when they grabbed my hand and exclaimed in a rushed whisper "Shut up! Do you want to be caught"
I paused. if it were a guard the person would have let me scream to have an excuse to beat me. It wasn't another slave because they wouldn't have dared.
"We don't have a lot of time come on."
Against my better judgement I decided to go with this mystery person. They kept their hand on my arm the entire 2 minute journey to the... bathroom? They pushed me in looked around then shut the door. They then preceded to turn on the light and I finally got a look at my "kidnapper". He was tall, my head only came up to the middle of his chest. He had shaggy chestnut hair and well defined arms. His eyes were a bright green and full of nothing but kindness. The only thing that kept me from trusting him was the guard uniform he was currently wearing...
"Who are you?!" I demanded while searching for the nearest weapon.
"Calm down. I'm not going to hurt you I'm trying to help you.I'm Noah and I'm here to give you a chance. "
"If you're really here to help then why me."
"You're the only one who hasn't given up hope"
"How can you help me?"
"I'm going to get you out of this hell hole"
"How?..."
His eyes lit up as he started to explain. And I couldn't help but notice his smile. When he finished all I could was stare at him in amazement. This was it I was finally getting out...He turned off the light peeked out the door and announced that the coast was clear. He led me back to my bunk he looked into my eyes and said one thing before he left..
"Don't give up hope"
