Every couple of months there is an attack on the camp. The enemy flies in to drop a few bombs. It starts with a faint buzzing noise in the distance, then disappears in the eternal drone of the workers. A while later the noise breaks through to unleash hell upon the unsuspecting workers. The fiery inferno of death begins with a whistling noise then it grows until it surrounds everything. Then the destruction begins with a raging wall of fire that swallows up the workers. It keeps feeding, and feeding, and feeding, until... it emits a a noise that brings us all to the ground in blinding pain. I can't keep count of all the charred bodies I've seen. There is no use trying to outrun it, the last things you feel is the sensation of every cell in your body being extracted and vaporized.
This attack was no different. They ushered into the underground bunker, not because they care, no, they do it because where else are they going to find free labor. The attacks normally end when the sun sets but thus time it kept on going. No one knew if this was a good thing or they had something else in mind. The sounds of the bombs ceased until they were almost gone the guards pushed us outside and put us to work to make up for the lost time. I started moving some rubble with some other workers when something caught my eye. It flashed through the night sky with a metallic shine, it made no noise as it sailed across the stars. I didn't know how much a little streak in the vast sky could change my life so drastically...

I'm very bad about updating regularly. Sorry, I'm a forgetful person. Just let me know if you like this story so far because I'm not a very good author, and if there is Amy thing that doesn't make sense I'll try and clear it up.
