I opened my eyes and they were all around me, the deadly mannequins. I shook them off rapidly, and quickly as I had many scars on my arms of their bite marks trying to decompose me. Thinking about the subject of quiting I realized I'm still here, not because of the fear of death but the fear of distance. I looked up and saw her clown-like robotic smile when relief gave over my face as her soft, coma inducing voice spoke,
"Don't be scared. I asked them to bring you here. Don't mind the harm. It's not important." Every period a long pause. I could feel her soul inside Baby Clown. Angela wasn't speaking though. "I'm saving you. Saving you from The Scooper. You would have died. You must learn to. Pretend. Next time." Relief. Is all I can describe her ghastly words were relief. Imagining them coming from Angela, it was relief. Thinking once it came from the demon inside, that would be my death. "Come. Follow me." She started walking out, walking past the mannequins as they stopped and bowed as if she was royalty. It was like a dream and a nightmare at the same time.
"Angela?" My voice stuttered, I couldn't help it but I heard her reply which again, it was relief,
"Not now. He's watching."
