He held me up by my neck, he stared at me with his soulless eyes, almost blinding, if I was farther from his face I would have seen his glow. He gave a small grin, seeing my fear. If he could even see. I saw something in his eye, a glimpse, a... soul. Could he be? A fake? He looked at me then dropped me as his demonic deep voice spoke

"Be grateful I have a change of heart." I scrambled to my feat, already breaking a rule, regulate my breaths, I could hear nothing but my heavily breaths. I glanced at him but not to make eye contact I asked shakily,

"What's your name? Who must I fear?" He glanced at me, seeming to be tired or bored of the games he stepped closer. Though he could have just been pretending to catch me off guard. That's what she said. Pretend.

"Herobrine. Don't fear me, tremble before me and run." Pretend. I just stood there, hiding my fear and breathing normally again.

"I'm not scared" I said to him, obviously lying, though maybe I'm a better actor then I thought. He stepped closer to me and looked at me closer. Seeming to be examining me.

"Run." Losing my bravery I fled, then bumped into something, bumping into flesh. My heart stopped as I looked up.
