I didn't say anything else after that. Just hearing her say that scared me. But just hearing her reply to "Angela" helped me. She turned to me.
"Hide." I couldn't tell if it was her helping me, or him warning. It was scary, and uncanny what that monster did to my Angela, if I could I would have been damned to grab that ice-cream instead of her. It should have been me. It shouldn't have been her innocence. I quickly glanced at the mangles and jumped in one. I hope this won't be the death of me. I couldn't see, but I could hear. I thought I could. I heard her voice. Angela's true voice.
"Come out, please Daddy I'm scared... please Daddy come out, please." It was him trying to deceive me I couldn't take the chance. But the longer I stayed in here grew the chance of death itself. I had to get out, and there he was. I was right, I should have trusted my gut, this is going to be the death of me. He glanced at me with his glowing eyes as shivers ran down my spine. His eyes opened my heart, and there I was.
