I'm Yours~Mikey Cobban

Alone.

It was mid March, it was sunny but still a bit chilly. We had been on our walk for about 20 minutes just talking about everything and nothing.

"Can I ask you something?" Mikey said.

Oh god. What could this be?

"I know you don't like Zoe but is that because of her personality or the fact that she's my girlfriend?" Mikey asked.

Oh no.

"Well, her personality does stink but I just think you deserve someone better that's all but it's not my place to say." The tension rose when I said this.

Mikey took a step closer to me, looked into my eyes and quietly said.
"Someone like you?"

We stayed that close to each other for a few seconds. All I wanted to do was plant my lips against his but I knew it was wrong.

We broke away from the tense moment as Mikey's phone starting ringing.
"You alright Fovvs?" Mikey answered.
"Okay we'll come back now." Mikey said in reply to whatever Andy said.

"Is everything okay?" I asked when Mikey was off the phone.

"I'll explain when we get there." He said, he sounded really nervous. He grabbed my hand and we ran all the way back.

We got to the door and Mikey turned round to me.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know."

What's he going on about? He didn't know what? I'm so confused.

We walked into the living room and there was a girl sat on the Mikey's bed who quickly jumped into his arms; Zoe.  Oh great. Everything seemed to be going okay, amazing even. Now, she's back and Mikey will obviously not break up with her and again I'm left.
