A few days later, I notice it doesn't say they're in a relationship in Haz's bio. I text Tom.
Me: Hey did Harrison and Tiffany break up?
Tom: She cheated on him. You were right. It was Nathan.
Me: Wow
Me: How's Haz?
Tom: He's a mess. I feel so bad for him.
Me: Me too
The next day-
I'm at school, and after one of my classes, Isaac touches my arm to get my attention as I quickly walk out of the room. "Hey, y/n." I turn around. He's been my crush since day one. His dark hair and blue eyes always had my attention. But, I tried to ignore. We've only ever talked in group settings. "Oh, sorry. Hey," I respond. "Can I walk with you to your next class?" "Um, sure!" I say, surprised, "We better walk fast, though." "Yeah, definitely.... So. You doing anything tonight?" he asks confidently. "No, not really." "Well, there's this really cool club I'm going to tonight. And, I was wandering if you wanted to come?" "Oh, I can't. My car's at the dealership. And, my sister's working tonight so I can't use her's." "Oh, well, I can pick you up." "Okay." "8:00?" "Sure, thanks." "Yep. See you tonight," he says, walking away as we reach the classroom. "Wait. Let me give you my address." "Oh, yeah," he laughs. I write it down and hand him the paper. "See you at 8," I say, smiling.
